@SIRENNET With Duo Technology, can the front LEDs be ordered so that each module on the driver's side is red/white, and each on the passenger's side is blue/white, but programmed so that the white portion can only be used in a steadyburn function (I feel multiple takedowns are extremely important)? Or, could the bar be ordered in this colors and then self-programmed? (Sorry if the question is unclear.)
How much would a red/ amber unit cost? I don't need the arrow bar fucntion but would like take downs. Also it would need to be 48. For a ford f350 extra cab.
@SIRENNET Can Whelen make (or at least design) custom lightbars as customers request them? (By 'custom' I mean a completely different product from anything currently offered.)
I don't see this bar on the Sirennet website anymore. Is there anymore news on the 2010 bar?
Or even better, would the dualcolor 500 units be available as single unit sales? I could think of a couple interesting upgrade packages people would like to install on their still perfectly working LFL's
The bar is still on our site- It can be found in the Exterior Lightbar section. Pricing for the bars is available via email or if you want to call us, we can price one out for you.
The Inboard Modules are not available independently, they can only be order in a complete DUO Lightbar.
So Whelen finally got around to it. I was going to make a custom bar using a Code 3 Excalibur with a bunch of the Axixtech dual color xtreme heads years ago.
I can't personally see any wildly new applications for this sort of thing, really. I mean, it's really cool, and I'm glad that they've finally caught up with dual-color LED tech, but it's not particularly "holy shit guys this changes the playing field" like LEDs themselves did.
The only really "revolutionary" thing about it is now whackers can mount amber/red/blue bars on their cars and show the cops that it's amber, then use red and blue whenever else.
@OfficerNelson we have a city worker, who is also a firefighter. he has an old MX7000, with 3 red and 2 amber rotators on it. this would be perfect for him, to run amber while he is doing his road work, and if he responds on a fire call, he can switch to red. Applications like that will work.
This is an amazing bar, can't wait to get more info on it. I was looking at the new Pinnacle from Soundoff, but I think I'm going to wait and find out more about this.
I wish they had some sweeping patterns on Whelen windsheild lights because my slimmiser has sucky patterns and it would be awesome if it would sweep or in and out patterns
@SIRENNET Also, what would be the most appropriate size Liberty bar for a 2012 Ford Mustang GT (73.9 in)?

@SIRENNET Thanks for the quick answer.
That's too bad, I've got an all blue LFL but I would've very much liked amber/blue units in the rear to add the arrowstick function.
Well, perhaps somewhere in the future, it's surely an item that I think would do very well in single sales!
Appreciate the quick answers!

@tommycati Yes. You can have it all amber, and then have a completely different set up too.

Can you get amber on front/sides too?

When is it going to be released?
They need to make a Traffic Advisor with Amber, Red, and Blue diodes in the same module.
Also they need to make some Liberty Mini Lightbars complete with Alleys and Takedowns.
Thanks,
-C. Daniels
P.S.- This is not gonna come cheap. LOL.

Thats because a slimmiser has Generation 1 LEDs, its a pretty old light that sirennet still sells for pretty cheap.
