I'm almost finished with the book and I'm obsessed!!!!!!!!!!!!But this doesn't look like the book at all.Percy is supposed to be 12,Medusa is supposed to have a shop,he doesn't swim,and Annabeth and Grover don't look like they're supposed to.I still love it though!

I loved the Percy Jackson series, so the fact that this movie left so many things out pisses me off. First of all, Grover is supposed to be an unathletic white kid, Annabeth is supposed to be blonde, and they are all supposed to be 12! Chiron's horse-half is supposed to be white, they got rid of Clarisse and the meetings and fight with Ares. Plus the whole quest for the 3 pearls never happened, they were just given to him by Nereid the sea spirit. Annabeth and Percy also originally hate eachothe

What needs to happens is they need to forget about this movie horrible that is nothing like the real Percy Jackson from the book and make a new one where Percy is 12 and Annabeth was a blonde and everything else that is wrong about this movie is fixed! I can't even believe what Rick Riordan is feeling about his book being turned into a movie that is nothing like his book! They need to find a director that can make a movie that is actually similar to the book!

I think the movie was enjoyable. As a movie, I liked it. It was enjoyable, funny and pretty cool. Compared to the book, it wasn't that great, but that's not what I'm looking at. I'm looking at it as a movie, and as a movie it was good.

the movie was actually pretty good, but it would of been better if they included clarisse and ares, they're appearences dont really bother me but they left out so much that was essential to the plot. and aren't they a little old ? i thought the prophecy come true when percy was 16 ? he looks about 17 in this. i understand that directors have to cut things out and rearrange. (harry potter and lord of the rings for example) but these guys went of the main plot a bit.
