@Kairukurumi it's just a thought. But a good percentage of that anime would probably be those perverted animes with no plot. Like mouse...or kampfer(in my defence, I only know about kampfer because of masako's abridged version)

That being the case, a lot of "ecchi" anime do have plots. High School of the Dead, being one. It's an action/drama anime, and just happens to include quite a few panty shots.

@Ashestoashesjc quite a few?!?! The panty shot level is over 9000! We need more anime like Code Geass. You know, animes that have little to no "fan-service" and actually make you think and feel for the characters.

But there are plenty anime of that variety if you both to look for them. Umineko no Naku Koro ni, Bokurano, Death Note, Deadman Wonderland, Blue Exorcist, Spiral, and Ghost in the Shell, just to name a few. However, there are plenty of anime with fanservice. You just have to be careful of what you watch. But it is easy to avoid. There's a lot of tasteful, thought-provoking anime.

@ZRolando It has a similar premise- A group of girls that gets magic powers and weapons from an animal- But the major differences are that each girl gets their powers from a special animal-Don't ask. It's complicated.- and there are aliens that want to mess with the world's enviorment, rather than steal people's energy.
