  • nice thompson >.>

  • The actors aren't that good...

  • Nicely done. I liked it. :)

  • Imma favorite this man!!!

  • Great film. Great great film. Nobody ever portrays war like this. I used to play war as a kid, not knowing that I would be in the military some day, doing the thing I was almost mocking. I still laugh at myself for doing it. Keep up the good work.

  • what camera do you use and how much is it??????

  • @2herosofwar We used a Panasonic HVX200 for this film. Brand new is around $4000 but ebay has them for less than $2000

  • i would make the muzzle flares a bit bigger , but its really good , keep up the good work

  • that pretty good better most of the other short film Ive been watching

  • clever

  • lol "where is it" "in the trees"...

  • This is a masterpiece.

  • Very nice work!!

  • ok when they were climing out off the trench i notest a real like explostion how did u do that?

  • how did u make the bullets the enemy shot, fly by like flashs of light?

  • @ShaustyProductions It's just a yellow rectangle key framed into 3D space using Adobe After Effects. I then masked where necessary and added motion blur

  • @fearlessfreakarc thanks i have been looking for a tut or even how to do it FOREVER now :D 5/5 on the effects btw

  • brits with american guns

  • @infantryfilms2nd The Lee Enfield is a British rifle. The Thompson was used by the British in North Africa but more commonly had the drum magazine.

  • @fearlessfreakarc i know brits used the thompson, but the lee enfield looked like an m1 garand

  • @fearlessfreakarc i no dude but that was an m14

  • @fearlessfreakarc looks like a m14 socom... without a magazine.. just saying.

  • @fearlessfreakarc no nesesarily, the brits in the desert removed drum mags because they couldnt sneak up on enemy positions with them as the rounds in the drum shifted and made noise, so the 30 round clip was adopted

  • wery gooood film

  • awesome video. only complaint was the thompson.

  • Very nice, the effects were awesome, and the camera work was quite nice. Good ending as well.

  • nice.........

  • Fantastic!

  • haha

  • Nice twist at the end, bravo!

  • you should do a tutorial on how to do these effects!!pllzz

  • @CROW88WEED I'll probably be able to upload a brief VFX breakdown in the new year

  • The ending was really nice! I loved the way you did that!! Great film mate.

  • Very well done! I love the look that Canon produces. Everything is top notch from edit flow to costuming. Fun idea for a story and well executed!

  • @WorkHardDreamBig It was shot with a Panasonic but I know what you mean. Thanks very much

  • @fearlessfreakarc

Great film making! Sound would have made it a tad better (ex: all your explosions sounded the same) But awesome, i liked the "story" lol :D

  • Brilliant short film. Great sounds, editing and action.,,,,,,,,,And last but certainly not least,. Lena to the rescue!!

  • Really enjoyed it :-)

  • nice, you should try putting it on Vimeo.

  • Hahaha I like the ending!

  • Where'd you get the sound effects?

  • @Hyminym All over really, some are sampled from games, some are real recordings, some from video copilot, the thompson is from youtube actually

  • @fearlessfreakarc Oh cool, well great job on it

  • Loved the ending!

  • Nice! Didn't expect the ending :D

  • thanks to ctbullet for the share and just a line to say nice short vid';-)

  • VERY well done, sir. You're quite the filmmaker. The editing and effects were spot on, as well. Brilliant.

  • Nice !

only british uniforms and american weapons ? ;) loved it though

  • @dierenfreak10 It is an American weapon but was used by the British in WW2. I believe with a cylindrical magazine though

  • @fearlessfreakarc

yeah the tommy but the garand ?

  • @dierenfreak10 With the ending in mind, you have to understand that the weapons and uniforms throughout the film exist only in the minds of the characters.

Therefore, any historical accuracy is simply because the characters don't have a historical knowledge of WW2 or firearms. Which is quite acceptable given who they are...

  • @HybridHalo

I'm really sory, but I didn't watch the whole movie, and I liked the part that I watched,

Wasn't really into the story more into the filming techniques .

  • @fearlessfreakarc Yes. It was called a Tommy Gun.

  • Absoulutly brillant! Well done, like the end :)

  • A MASTERPIECE

  • That was brilliant, I really enjoyed that. Camerawork, vfx, editing etc. was really good!

    ***** ! Keep it up
