Ahh predators will always find a way. I know people who have had bears rip doors down and skunks break into coops. Just part of having chickens. Totally free range or not. Circle of life :-)
@hazakranch We have had these chickens for four years and this was the first time we had a problem, and since we have removed the coon, we haven't had another problem.
Great job Jeff, I've lost some birds to a local 'coon fellow. I don't have a live trap

keep the chickens in a pen prperly! then the poor bugger cant hunt them i hope youve let him go and sorted your problem
