  • Hello C2builder.

What is the fire rate on this beast ?

    Thank you !

  • @SteelScream88 About 700 - 750rds per minute.

  • Looks like a nice gun to bring to war "even today"

  • My Friend your like a Long lost brother too me.

  • so many weapons in the old days i never heard about...

  • its recoil is so low.

  • C2builder, freaking LOVE r vids, i love old guns!!

  • I was hawin one in the war in Bosnia.Powerful weapon.

  • Zombie invasion? That there is what you need!

  • it seems very stable

  • Beautiful

  • Beutifull.

  • man watching your videos makes me really feel like wars should only be fought in a video game even more lol

  • I think the MG-42 still wins.

  • isnt it 7.63x54russian?

  • @RifleMenofAZ11 Almost. it is 7.62x54R

  • its strange that if you shoot with the camera from diffirent angle the gun sounds different :)

  • @yokiitaja1 the sound is going different way from the angle

  • wheelchair machine gun?

  • Big plus to the Russian weapon that it does not refuse during the most improper moment, and simply shoots, that is important during fights! In difference from well-known American М-16. Which even on an aircraft carrier deck where is not present a dust and a dirt, refuses to shoot. In respect of arms, Russia ahead of a planet of all!

  • @alexnw4171 Have you seen an m16 not shooting on an aircraft carrier deck?

  • I want one! Great Video!!

  • =O i want one for Christmas!!!!!

  • i want one =D

  • YEAAAA MEN

  • ya gotta love the Russins

  • @bmurphy5461 What most folks don't realize is that Russia spent quite a while being on the cutting edge of weaponry. They declined for a while during the late Imperial period, and during the Purges they slowed down quite a bit, but they've been at the forefront of military technology for nearly all the rest of their existence.

  • look at the hay flying up!

  • hay do those ammo cans have a seal

  • sorta reminds me of a BAR no idea why

  • @williamhamer the MG was probably based off the Browning design, many guns were.

interesting that its a "medium" machine gun, looks more like a HMG since it doesnt have a pistol grip and even has wheels...

  • Trust an American to own nearly every gun in existance!

  • wow so loud even though i lowered my vol

  • I believe in weapons only for defense... no to comence strikes to no one... but if someone attacks us or invade... they need to eat some pieces or fire!

  • only in russia will you load a gun from the right side

  • @firebrain911 Maybe the USA should have. After all, the Russians defeated 85% of the German army and the Russians won the land war in Europe, Jethro. Not bad for people whom load their machine guns from the right side.

    here ends the history lesson

  • hmm looks exactly like the Browning....

  • Damn that thing is badass.

    All Soviet guns are badass

  • good video and good narrative thanks

  • Man Beautiful Weapon. Great job.

  • nice model ))

  • Are your machine guns pre86 transferable?

  • Whats the caliber of this one ?

  • @Nick3889 7,62 mm

  • @Nick3889 looks like 7.62x54R

  • One helluva refurb job on that thing! Rate of fire is impressive too! Did the russians have it on a cart like that? It kinda resembles the Browning...

  • is it just me or that gun looks like a small sized DShk?

  • do you rob museums for these weapons?

  • where do you get the guns

  • @C2builder some machineguns could be fired while on the move, while i think i'd be impractical, do you think you could fire on the move with the SG-43?

  • this machine gun was way to heavy to carry whit them on the battle field

  • Wow. I would not want to be a Nazi running up to try to take whatever bunker THATS fixed in...

  • .50 Caliber bullets?

  • @Skyline350zz It is not a .50 caliber, more like a .30 caliber. Specifically 7.62*54, A rimmed rifle cartridge that is slightly shorter than a 30.06. Soviets make this ammo today and surplus is still able to be found at about $75 for 440 rounds (makes you appreciate how much this video cost to make).

  • 0:31 even the ground jumps in fear

  • thats bad ass

  • hmm, I know of quite a few european GPMGs that have variable belt feed directions, but i've never seen on that loads from the right...

Internal reasons or just those crazy soviet proclivities?

  • Is this the one featured in Enemy at the gates when the Russians try and retreat they are shot at with a gun on wheels like that one...

  • This makes me proud to be Russian.

  • Look at the grass.

  • Do you load all of your ammo belts by hand or a machine or something else like that?

  • @zXAgent47Xz I have a cranking type machine that loads them. It can load a 250rd belt in about 3 minutes.

  • @C2builder Do you have a video of that machine?

  • @zXAgent47Xz what do i need to do to take a licence to make weapons in the US cause i think i read somewhere that you need some "special" licence..

  • Haha, I knew that was a 'x54r just by looking at that big rear end of the casing.

  • That's one helluva gun. If you look at the grass around :30 you can see it being blown back.

  • It's sad there aren't such big, bright muzzle flashes like in the movies, hehe

  • so how do you have so much ammo? and good vids

  • @bosniancandy Being a manufacturer you always have to have plenty of ammo on hand to test weapons, I stocked up years ago when it was really cheap.

The videos are just my way of educating people on history and firearms. Thanks.

  • @C2builder ahh ok i was just wondering do you have to have a special license to get these kids of guns, and how much would it be?

  • @C2builder didn't the russians use the DS-39 more than the SG-43?

  • @C2builder is that the 7.62x54R?

  • Watch the grass after 0:23 two feet in front of the muzzle. Concussions are blowing it back.

  • do you also make deactivated machine guns?

  • @tollyt100 Yes, on occation when time permits we build and sell a varity of dummy guns.

  • @C2builder just a question but how hard is it to make dummy guns?

    could you make a video?

  • @ENTERMYDEATHMASK It depends on how accurate and realistic you want the display to look. Most people assemble the reciever pieces togrther using bondo, JB Weld or something similar. Of course you would never want to try and shoot one so loosely constructed unless you are into pain. Some weld the pieces together and add some sort of steel blocking bar so the internals cannot be added. I have several parts kits to build into live guns but I really don't have the spare time to build just a display.

  • @C2builder thanks cause i have always wanted to build a display machinegun and didnt really know howto really and i just thought i would be cool to do so

    thank you

  • #10 of the Top Ten Machine Guns (according to the Military Channel)

  • Resembles today's Russian PKM

  • I love it. Nice video. Im glad I have a C&R.....

  • watch the ground just infront of it! thats a huge firepower!

  • 7.62x54 kicks ass!!!

  • Where the hell do you buy these WWII guns at?

  • here 7.62mm - or 12.5 mm ??? i don't remember

  • russian engineering ftw

  • O.O look at the grass its like holy shit

  • the sound is fucking orgasmic

  • russian tank

  • Its chambered in 7.62x54r right?

  • dang dude those bullets are huge, and that gun is really amazing... pretty cool that u can build and sell those :_)

  • That has to suck cleaning that gun because of the Corrosive ammunition he's using

  • is it able to mount this thing on a tripod or was it always deployed on these silly wheels?

  • this is so sick how u have so many machine guns!

    - is one class 3 license all you need?

  • woah! it fires right to left! im an american and american guns fire left to right, so i didnt see that coming haha

  • You're lucky you live in Texas. California gun laws suck.

  • @redsarge15 WOOOO TEXAS.

  • It is so crazy that in this planet there is countries where individuals can own shit like this. Awesome and sad at the same time.

  • can i buy one if i am under 21

  • @dbirdsofprey No.

  • @C2builder How old do I have to be to purchase a full auto machine gun like say a MG42 or a PKM ?

  • @47Akguy You have to be 21 yrs old and pass a FBI background check.

  • @C2builder and you need a big wallet

  • @C2builder Dont you also need a class 3 weaponry license?

  • @C2builder what states are auto firearms legal?

  • @xxuncexx You must be 21 to purchase a machine gun in the US. The following states allow private ownership of machine guns if registered with ATF: AL, AK, AZ, AR, CO, CT, FL, GA, ID, IN, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, MN, MS, MO, MT, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NM, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, WV, WI, WY. Some states have their own registration requirements, but most just say you have to have it registered with ATF.

  • @47Akguy Thanks I have been looking hard to find answers and your videos are great.

  • @47Akguy I really doubt you will pass the FBI test judging by how unserious you are about doing some research...

  • @C2builder can i buy it if iam canadian

  • @C2builder if i where to become a class 3 lisence holder what is the cheapest and best(in your opinion) full auto/ select fire weapon i can buy as my first class 3 weapon? i was thinking a MAC 10 in 9mm or 45.ACP

  • @hummerskickass Once you get the license then the only thing limiting your purchase is cash. MAC's a still in the $3,000+/- range and though not as practical and popular they still are good investments and a good stepping stone to trade up to something better later on. A suppressor for the MAC's are a absolute plus.

  • @C2builder ya a suppressor for a MAC would be great. have you ever heard of the Daewoo K2. its a south korean mix of a m16 and ak47 chamberd in 5.56. i have recently learned that there where some Daewoos that where legaly modifyed to full auto before the ridiculous May 86 ban on many types of wonderful firearms. these few modiflyed full auto daewoos are transferable. what i need to know is how much they cost and where i could find one. and out of curiosity could you bild one for yourself?

  • @hummerskickass I had a Daewoo back in 1986 just after they passed the law where individuals were no longer able to make thier own full-autos. Bummed. I don't know of any transferables out there but I'm sure there are plenty. It was a OK rifle aside from the fact that only the mags were interchangeable, spare parts were very hard to find.

  • Comment removed

  • @iTzGiNz I am a Federal Licensed manufacturer and can buy, build and sell any machine gun up to and including .55 caliber. You must be over 21 yrs old and a clean personal record to get the license.

  • Looks very solid!

  • what's the largest caliber gun u can legally own in the US?

  • @crimbo913 that depends on which state you live in, in texas where I live and where this is you can have pretty much whatever as long as you obtain the correct license you can even have fully automatic weapons and sound suppresors shor barrled rifles as well this guy is awesome.

  • @crimbo913 It depends on where you live. Here in California we can't own anything .50 or higher. The gun laws here are kinda retarded.

  • the sound is awesome but those wheels look so retarded on a gun like some kind of wheel-chair

  • that thing is badass

  • nice one mate 5*****

  • russians loved to put wheels on their artillery,

  • where do you get these guns?

  • @Theempore1234 Some are bought from other Class 3 dealers and some are built by me.

  • 0:32 look at the grass =D btw great vid

  • I love the sleek look of the SG43.

  • are you acctually allowed to keep one of those things?

  • @cobaltblade12 I am licensed by the United States Federal Government, yes I can build and sell these.

  • @C2builder ...build? THATS AWSOME :P

  • @C2builder thats pretty sick

  • @C2builder how hard is it to get a license to own a machine gun?

  • @C2builder how does one get a license for this? whats the process?

  • is it me, or is this the first machine gun i've seen that has the rounds entering from the left, because usually they enter from the right.

  • @dimitry246 The belt feeds from the right (you sitting behind the gun) and the empty brass ejects from the left. Most American belt fed guns do feed from the left as do the German WW2 belt fed guns.

  • @C2builder in german and american belt fed guns the rounds almost always eject under the gun to keep hot shells out of the way of people

  • @C2builder Don't many belt fed guns eject the bullets from the bottom? like the m2 browning for example

  • @Zangizo It varies by maker, some eject out the side and some out the bottom.

  • hi C2, i was just curious but does yout name stand for Class 2 builder??:)

  • @xXSoiledTrousersXx Yes it does.

  • great post. i love russian weapons.

  • kick ass gun. another greant gun is the light mg zb26

  • holy f-

that's one hell of a gun

  • Hi C2....another great video! Do you know which factory the "Circle 6" logo is for?

  • Thanks. I don't recall exactly which factory the circle-6 is but do know these were made mostly in Poland and Czechoslovakia between 1943 to 1956.

  • @C2builder Circle-6 is code for Hipolt Cegielski factory in Poznań, Poland (from 1949 to 1956 - Zakłady im. Stalina, Poznań - Stalin Works) they manufactured SG-43 (1952-56) and SGMT (1957-68) later PK series.

  • this gun can be fed by american / western ammo ?

  • @RUSSIAmiami, yes it can. It fires the 7.62x54r cartridge which is very common here in the USA.

  • 7.62x54r?

  • @aphsknight74, yes.

  • Incredible how we can hear the sound of the bolt moving first, than the shot.

  • @TheBelva85 Yup, thats what you call excellent sound quality.

  • must of took out a lot of germans then

  • Still in use. Just like Ma Deuce if it works, don't fix it.

  • That Thing Is A Beast!

  • WOW see them empty carts fly they could hurt.

  • damn I love the 7.62x54r cartridge. I don't know why i like it so much. I don't have an SG-43 unfortunately! :) But I sure enjoy the cartridge in my mosin nagants and PSL. Excellent video and beautiful 32 by the way. Thanks for sharing!

  • @sonick808, the 7.62x54r is one of my favorites. The ballistics are better than what people typically believe and is a excellent hunting caliber.

  • @sonick808

it is a great round, nasty recoil and loud as hell, and still maintains supreme power and accuracy.

you can't help but love it.

  • A question:Why is it on wheels?^^

  • The Russians came up with the wheeled mounts so the foot soldiers could move quickly in pace with horse mounted and motorized units. The gun is heavy, I sure wouldn't want to carry it.

  • true. i also heard that it was influenced by the success of the m1910 maxim, which was mounted on wheels

  • yes, the wheeled mount is a very similar design. You can recalibrate it for anti-aircraft use - the shield and wheels form a solid base and the gun is mounted at a steep angle on the tail of the base.

  • In the battlefield of the 20th century a Machinegun crew would be expected to move to where it would be needed quickly. The Machinegun could be hot from use and it would not be easy to carry it. If a soldier has to carry it he will become tired. Also the Machinegun crew could need to be ready to fire as soon as it reaches its position, no time to assemble a tripod. In this situation a wheeled mount was the best choice at the time.

  • I really LOVE the sound...

  • CKM -Ciężki Karabin Maszynowy (Heavy Machine Gun) wzór 43 (model 43). In Poland an Czechoslovakia (as Kulomet vz.43) were manufactured between 1952-56.

  • Light ball or heavy ball ammo?

  • The SG43 will shoot both types with no problem. The heavy ball ammo was made to travel farther with greater penetration on impact.

  • wow, they are in remarkable condition, do they usually come together or do you have to use pieces from many diff guns? how hard is it to transfer a class III?

  • The SG-43 parts kits are usually in good condition, except for the reciever which is torch cut in three places with a 1/4" gap between cuts. The SG43 reciever is in my opinion one of the hardest to reweld correctly, not to mention setting the timing for the gun to work right. This gun is a Post Sample which can only be transfered to a NFA Dealer with a demonstration request letter from a police department.

  • that's interesting how it feeds from right to left. Is that characteristic of Russian machine guns?

  • Pretty much as far as the belt fed guns.

  • Great MG but i somehow dont understand- do you built them according to blueprints?

  • You will not find any blueprints on these old weapons. To me, building a machine gun is 50% mechanical ability, 30% stubborness and 20% fustration. LOL. OK, really, its all a matter of planning and study on how these guns work and what it takes to bring them back to life. Good question! Thanks!
