I made this ship, WITH a cockpit, and I can tell you THIS is the perfect Gummi Ship : I was able to find 100% of the treasures, I totally finished the Gummi quest !
i just beat lvl 3 assault ov the dreadnought with your design and it worked perfectly, it was a great scene too and i restarted and recored the boss battle. epicc!!!

To get the Neon Bars you obviously have to do the Gummi Missions 1&2 and destroy enimies in the levels to get treasure.
Or you probably already have Neon Bars. To get your Neon Bars go to the Gummi edit screen and press the triangle button then look for "Cockpit gummies" and then choose "Optional gummies"

@XxsasukerulezxX ive tried a different method for this. its apparently what this dude was talking about. i stack cockpits only around the area and cover around them with certaint cannons, but i also use the comets as well. but this seems to work very efficiently too. but with my ship, you can easily tank hits run the routes nice and slow, yet also burst like a G6.
@Aznkid898 oh and, the point of cockpit stacking is for epic power(can easily kill dread boss in like 15 seconds) and reduce as much speed as possible. but then again, dodge rolling is very epicly slow and immoble.
@ratchetx209 yes it does work, you have to dodge roll at the final boss. and this doesnt mean youre invincible, if you get hit by area attacks or move the wrong way you will get hit. only MOST attacks pass through not all
@salyboyy1 if you dont have the neon bars, just use other gummis, but use this basic design, then when you complete some missions and defeat certain enemies, (i dont remember which ones.) then you will get more neon bars and you can follow this design closer.
damn, i can't find my other memory card, so im on a new file and i made this ship and i can't get s+10 on asteroid sweep i have s+9 and its killing me please someone help me on this!!
Oh, also, your teeny ship design is unneeded due to the fact that your teeny ship cannot take damage (which is why most people utilize them for impact gummis).
you know, Medal Converter x2 is better than Cannon Upgradex2. In fact, you shouldn't be using cannon upgrade at all, as once you enter berserk (75% faster with two medal converters), Cannon Upgrade becomes pointless. In addition, you should put the gravigas on the bottom and top, not the sides, as they cover more area that way.
On another note, you apparently couldn't beat Assault of the Dreadnaught Mission 3 without this ship because you only have Medal Converter x1. Sad.
Why is everyone bitching about this ship? I tried it and I beat the final boss on the hardest level.... I've tried different versions with engines, wings, cockpits and without. I think without works better.
does this ship pack enough of a punch to kill every enemy. somehow i doubt it does. and if your good enough at dodging having a ship that sacrifices power for avoidability isnt really usefull.
@lagorbian I have used this ship before. it does take a while longer to kill a gold rarity, but it does the job. This ship uses just about every neon bar availaible in the game, what do you expect the power to be?
@lagorbian Surprisingly, you rarely get hit with this ship. It is true, attacks fly straight through the middle. It's just the Final Hunter you need to worry about, some of his attacks can still hurt you.
@ultima9345 yeah i did a test run with this ship. i even added extra neon orbs to further the ships power. you will still get hit by any boss that you can kill in 2secs. and its simple impossible to Ace Assault of Dreadnought with a 100% Treasure score. not only that but assault of Dreadnought mission 3 final boss pulls your ass insideout if you try to beat it with this ship. i actually had to make my own version of it just so it stayed alive....

@XxsasukerulezxX I know. I was sharing that info. My solid gummi ships (the ones with no hole in the center) normaly get s+3 on mission 3s. I made a ship similar to the one shown in ur vid before i found anything on utube about it and got s+7s.then i tried this desine and got s+10s. Thanx =)
@TheSuckyharry i dont remember exactly but you have to play through missions, i dont remeber which ones but if you go to a bookstore or something there might be a kingdom hearts 2 guide book published by bradygames that will show all of that. or you can google it. whichever you have time for! :)
you know what, you don't have to answer. The problem was that i haven't enough mobility pieces. anyway, i just flewed the ship and WOW. I finally found the last treasure and i got S7 as grade, thanks to you
@XxDatexRapexX if you go through the gates and do mission 1 of the gates you'll probably have your AP up some. but you'll have to play through most all the missions to get alot of AP
@axeloflight you have to do alot of missions and beat certain enemys in the missions. i cant quite remember, but a KH2 guide book will show you where to get it. and upgrade space you get when you beat the game, and the weaponry you obtain by doing the missions and beating the enemys
@XxsasukerulezxX thing is i beat the game. the part where you add laser upgrade and all that is what I'm talking about. the game so far is rough when it comes to gummi, one more thing, what do you recommend for beating the missions if all you have is the pre-made ships?
thanks! this gummi model is the only reason i got anything done on KH2 when related to gummi ships. iff you dont yet have all of the neon bars or weapon gummis, you can create a spin off of this with weaker gummis and no or one layer of neon bars

No piece you attach to your ship influences how fast you progress through the course.
Engine gummis influence how fast your ship moves left, right, up and down, not forward.
Wing gummies influence the distance you will move when you do a dodge roll with the O button.
Not that you need this but, if you are going for something that isn't just a big boring floating square, you could try this combination:
Engine: No less than -18.
Wing: No more than 54.

@TheSuckyharry i dont remember exactly but you have to play through missions, i dont remeber which ones but if you go to a bookstore or something there might be a kingdom hearts 2 guide book published by bradygames that will show all of that. or you can google it. whichever you have time for! :)

@XxDatexRapexX if you go through the gates and do mission 1 of the gates you'll probably have your AP up some. but you'll have to play through most all the missions to get alot of AP

@axeloflight you have to do alot of missions and beat certain enemys in the missions. i cant quite remember, but a KH2 guide book will show you where to get it. and upgrade space you get when you beat the game, and the weaponry you obtain by doing the missions and beating the enemys

@XxsasukerulezxX thing is i beat the game. the part where you add laser upgrade and all that is what I'm talking about. the game so far is rough when it comes to gummi, one more thing, what do you recommend for beating the missions if all you have is the pre-made ships?

i didn't know kingdome heats 2 they let you fly with out a cockpit i thought that was mandatory as well as rockets

thanks! this gummi model is the only reason i got anything done on KH2 when related to gummi ships. iff you dont yet have all of the neon bars or weapon gummis, you can create a spin off of this with weaker gummis and no or one layer of neon bars
