  • i was a national champion once upon a time

  • it's indian game, it thrived in India. Description is good, but, There are wooden poles (3-4ft ht.) on either ends of line in middle. As pointed out by coolpump22, the person chasing can not change the direction arbitrarily (except around pole where he can take a 180 deg. turn) . Chaser has to decide, after he gets up from his sitting position, whether to go about chasing in left or right direction. till he decides he can go in straight line.without this rule, the game becomes quite trivial.

  • This is an Indian game dude...its still played very regularly at school level in India...

  • this is a indian game,

  • this game is not south african game, it originated in india and was brought over by the labourers

  • nice game .

    Where is this?

  • Your description is almost accurate...some correction if anyone is interested...

    - The team that is being chased sends a batch of three players everytime all the previous three players are successfully chased.

    - The chaser cannot change his direction of the run once he/she is commited to one direction. This rule is pardoned most of the time , like in this video for starters..

Loved this game when i was a kid. :-)
