  • This is a great video..

But if you build Solar Panels by your own, it will pay you back in 1-2 years!

There is an Engineer from Chicago that explains it All

You can find his web site by Searching Google for...

    "Top DIY Solar Panels"

Choose the First Result (Skip The Advertisements)

  • cool bags! where can i buy those bags?? =)

  • Great use of flexible solar panels and extremely useful for anyone on the move, especially as they can charge USB based mobile devices.

    solargizmo.co.uk

  • Hey, check out my website at ScientificallyGreener(Dot) com and get all the new and improved Equipments to build or buy your own solar and wind energy systems ScientificallyGreener(Dot) com is a website that sells the most modern environmental products available

  • nice

  • This is the stiffest cunt I ever saw.

  • DAT is frekign great idea .. GOOD works.

  • Great idea. Check out there new website and summer collection.

  • Great Idea, have you thought about a photgraph bags and hiking backpacks... Charging up Camera batteries is a must in woods and jungles.

Where do the Flexable Solarpanels come from?

  • Look at LDK Solar, they will be the largest solar ingot manufacturer in the world. The company is based in China and will produce 16,000 MT by 2009. They are hugely undervalued! LDK will go to $160 by end of 2009. Currently $35 a share. They are bringing the cost of solar down. Invest and make money, Invest and help LDK win against the big OIL MAFIA

  • Great idea!!!!!!!

  • very good... they should make solar power bookbags or wallets something for the male agenda, althought both males and females use bookbags... bookbags would be great i think people use them more.

  • Love it...absolutely love it. Can you post more material...what about laptop bags? What about flexible solar panels for attachment to electric bikes to help trickle charge them?

Execellent. This is the type of green attitude will work...it adds to people convienence not detracts from it!

  • theres already this technology out there, and probably cheaper than what they're selling it for. you can buy a solar panel to charge your car battery for like $30. so it would be interesting to see what they want for the bags. just marketing for their pocket imo.

  • This is a great idea! To have your own traveling energy source is very cutting edge. How exactly does the battery source hook up with and cost of the solar Panel ? Its great that you are recycling old purses but to make more desireable maybe redye the whole purse or use organic fabric sources and give that less old used purse look. I can't believe how these guys are jealous and demeaning to 2 women who are technologically innovative. JOIN THE 21ST CENTURY OR FEMALES WILL CRUSH YOU. Sale ebay.

  • wow - hight tech hippys ...:)

  • Doesn't the ag become too hot to touch and irritating to carry around, especially in summer, when the bag is most useful cos there is most sun? Dunno. just asking.

  • "If at first, the idea is not absurd, there is no hope for it." -- Albert Einstein.

  • Hey people, at the very least, the ladies are doing something about this global problem by letting their creative ideas flow. By just using our computers, we are already adding to the problem. What are the rest of us doing about it? The least the rest of us can do is support those who are doing something, no matter how small or outrageous it may be.

  • She says "Can we consume so we don't kill everything?"... Also, "The sun hits everywhere in the world" ...How eloquent! Sounds like a liberal eight year old. I guess they're going to save the world with their purse ... and women say men are stupid. Putting a solar cell on a purse isn't like their trying to cure cancer. Sheesh!

  • They also said "it's one little step to get off the grid". I don't hear these 2 women or any other women calling men stupid. The Eco difference of this application is small and more just a convenience. The idea of improving everyday items in a green way is very good.

  • Soo.... with around 12 Mj/M^2 a day in a temparate/arid climate, and a panel size of 0.09M^2, and assuming an exposure of 12.5 J/s.... How many years will it take to pay off the energy used in making the bag?

  • They'll have to get back to you on that.

  • Great idea, great video.

    -Kevin Morrow

  • how often to people expose there bag to the sun?

  • For people who live in the cold climates, do you have solar-power-heated underwear?

  • Wow, nice idea!

  • men don't get anything?

I think it looks pretty stupid on a guy.

  • Add a female USB (typeA) port if you don't already have one.

Looks Great i look forward into getting a few!

  • poor sick boy,,,,, what happened to you?

  • OWSAME

  • Yeah, how much? I could use one. (A manly one that is)

  • How much does the bags cost.?

  • Innovative !! creative and fashionable :)

  • Awesome Idea, how can I get one?

  • Cool! That's pretty smart. Not many people are that smart these days, sadly.

  • Can the solar panels be washed? If so, sew them onto the back of a T-shirt and include a detachable universal charger plug. Or, if the panels can't be washed, make them detachable too (perhaps with snaps).

Then send me my check for the idea! :-)

  • should have more spec and rating

  • Wow, this is a really awesome idea!

  • COOL and HOT!!!!

  • Yes! Go solar energy! I recall doing a long report on solar energy back in mid high school. Sometimes, technology will end up doing a lot of good than causing new problems for our planet.

  • nice job girls

  • cool :P

  • so cool!!

  • LOVE IT!!!!! :)

  • i like it do you guys make something, a lil more manly???

  • really nice idea

    im glad

  • this is a good idea. not every country and/or city has alota sunlight all year round but i guess you could use it in spring and summer. i would buy one if i had money.

  • Bet you haven't watched Al Gore's movie 'The Inconvenient Truth'. It might change perspectives.

  • Sure we are all going to die. But we humans don't want to die OFF anytime soon or at all.

  • I'd like it if it wasn't all girls' products and if it could store a lot more energy. (not so it could store energy faster, but so it could store more, even if it took 4 times the time)

Think about how many businessMEN could take their LAPTOP cases on planes and use their LAPTOP CASE when their battery runs out. Or parents buying for laptop-owning kids. That would like.. literally double sales.

  • looks fashionable

    CAPTAIN PLANET

  • Yes. Like others have said PLEASE make something for a man. Backpack, Laptop case. Anything! Thanks

  • Great idea! Definately would like a backpack and a more feminine purse...

  • =)

This is an excellent idea!(but i also need a backpack

  • nice one, olm bu güneş enerjisini kullanılabilir hale getiren bir çanta olayı lo :D

  • hahaha koptum lol

  • bu nedir lo

  • good idea, got any non-girly bags? maybe a back pack or something?

  • yea i would like a backpack that can charge my phone.

  • great idea, trytake full advantage go aggressive push your product lines now while you still could. Perhaps in 5 to 10 yr in the futures, Nano Carbon Capacitors will take over virtually everything from iPod to mobile devices. Battery could be obsolete on all tiny potable gadgets as well as bigger electronic devices.

  • very good idea

  • I think this is a great idea...baby steps

  • STOP GLOBAL WHINING

  • Why don't they show how it can be used ... isn't that called "Marketing?"

  • good job

  • youtube = search = מוות קליני - שני הצדדים

  • you guys are bright.

  • You're right

  • Wow. We are lucky they told us not to shut down all the factories. My hand was on the switch.

  • i want one

  • Firstly, she says right in the video that it's meant to "charge" cell phones and iPods, etc.

Charging is not powering. The two are involved, but not identical.

Second, I can't say enough good about anyone who actually takes the first step. She's being progressive about climate control.

    What has anyone else done?

    I'll buy one myself. ^_^

  • youtube = search = מוות קליני - שני הצדדים

  • A little math: in laboratories they reached approx. 15% efficiency of transformation from solar to electrical power. That means 1m2 with approx. 1000W would produce approx. 150W of power. This bag has a solar panel 0,04m2 or 400cm2. That would mean 6W of energy. The factual efficiency rates are around 6-7% so that bag would produce 3W of energy. I would need a horde of shoppers to light one light Bulb!! Stupid. And unusable.

  • I thought it's nearly 20%

  • maybe - some time has passed since I learned about that:) Interesting solution though is roof integrated solar cells. And still we have problems with transformation of electricity to the correct voltage/frequency...

  • Its not meant to light an incandescent light bulb you stupid moron, and if someone who's capable can attach a small power inverter, it could power small electronic devices.

  • That's nice. :)

  • In Spring, 2008, the internet dissapears... forever...

    /watch?v=GpBqWvpTW_s

  • cool

    () ()

    ( '.' )

    (")_(")

  • IT IS OK

  • join my group

  • great job guys..

  • the better way involves shutting the factories down. . .

  • awesome! good for you =)

    this makes me happy.

  • Great product!! Do you have a website?

I install Solar Commercial and residential

    Thank You

  • NICA BAG

  • I wish that on the Eastpak Backpack

  • Great product, but could you get any less enthusiastic? Try using fluctuation in your voice.

  • wow, nice way too save the earth!

  • thats amazing :D

  • This is a good idea. if you can get it to norway i wod be most thankfull=)

  • bag makers u r true green heroes!

  • Nice idea but have you thought about more sizable things such as a laptop back pack, Even if it can't power it. A lot of people have them.

  • That's awesome...

    Make 3-5k a week, go to my15kprofit.c0m

  • why not put solar panels on a cap?

  • Cause its a bunch of chicks..lol

  • I've seen it before... but the size of the cap wouldn't allow u to produce more power than to have like a little fan or so... =) It would take ages to charge an Ipod or so (and btw.. how do u wanna connect anything up there?... wires down ur body?)

  • ok maybe not a cap, what about a novelty sized sombrero :P

  • Good luck with the marketing ^^

  • lol

  • AMAZING IDEA !!! its people like you that will save us from our own demise!

    I applaud you two!!

So how or where do u get the solarcells in the first place?

  • what if u live in vancouver and its only sunny 80 days a year?

  • the point of this accessory is to help reduce energy consumption, is not meant eliminate it.

that said, obviously they are not gonna bother about it working everywhere in the world

still when you have 1 million people not charging their cell phone and/or ipod for one day does save a huge amount of energy so even those 88days make a big difference.

  • Awesome product, well done. Though I do wish there was an alternative for most guys. I just don't have enough stuff that i need to carry around that i need a bag, just a cell phone, ipod, keys, and wallet. If you could somehow make a jacket that wouldnt be horribly ugly thatd be perfect for myself.

  • i think it would have to be leather. a material you dont normally wash...

  • Great idea, keep it up.

Make the bags more jazzy and funky.

    Laptop bags etc...

    Cheerz

    MIR

  • this will probably only make solar panels more expensive

  • This is pretty neat

  • a great idea with all of the new electronic gadgets coming on the market.

  • Cool idea... I hope it makes people feel better about being so stupid. I know i do. . . heh

  • Fantastic idea! I'm impressed. The usefulness of a product like this should thoroughly be explored and implemented.

  • Pretty cool.

  • blake sanden sucks

  • global warming is such BS.

  • Blake Sanden <---- Goooooogle That Now

    .

  • Nice idea girls....

  • Great stuff!!! well done

  • sweet vid.

  • what about the people in northern europe and alaska and siberia whow dont have sun for large portions of the year. racist bitches.

  • what crawlled up your ass...its an innovative invention that could be the base of many things to come...dont be so harsh just because you dont get your little bit-o-sunshine everyday and ass for "racist bitches" NEWS FLASH every one is racist its only when you become prejiduse (i know thats spelled wrong sorry)that it becomes a problem...and to me i think there just trying to help alot of people out

  • Youtube hits a new level of retardation. Congrats. Solar panels do have the ability to store energy you know.

  • Siberia, Alaska and Northern Europe get more sunlight in June than most places do, to the tune of 18-20 hours a day.

Pay attention in school. Learn what a racist is, while you're at it.

  • Everybody at the beach!

  • i real thing that this is a good idea good for you two and hope every thing gose well with the bag making :)

  • I have some power, just get down and open your mouth and you'll feel it.

  • excellent creativity ladies!

  • I wont buy this.....i dont walk in the sun that much...

  • Don't make a federal case out of it. RP 2008!

  • How much farmable land can we afford to lose?

  • great idea, love how people really try to clean the world since we are all going to burn if we dont change. And if we dont burn we will drown in the water from the ice glacers that are melting, sorry for my spelling.

  • My underwear is made of biodegradable material. I think it is coconut husk fiber because my butt gets itchy.

  • Fertilizer is killing the ocean. whitout it we cannot grow the crops needed for our own survival. this is not rocket science. any fool should be able to see the end from this close to the edge.

  • I may sound like a war monger, but nothing could be farther from the truth. I'm just stating dry facts.

  • The truth is we have loaded earth with about as many people as it can hold. energy is running out. food will fastly follow. What is good for earth, what is good for the environment, is a sudden, and drastic reduction in population. Which is good because, thats what is going to happen. At least while we are cannibalizing each other in a few years we can feel good that we are helping save the planet.

  • still will you lier!!

nothen on that says any thing bout Obama

so why dont you give me my 30 seconds of life back!

  • just read bralen24. I'm with her on this vidoe. I knew I liked the idea of portable power of the go!

  • Moving in the right direction at least. Re-use what has already been made. Reduction of the masses Grandguignolost? Isn't that what we are doing with war? Fast and deceptive. Effective enough for you? I say reuse what we have in new less consumable ways.

  • I like this idea!! I can power up my dildo on the go.. :)Why do all earth lovers have the same look?

  • no we dont!!

  • Very geek-sheik. I want a shirt like that.

  • I really don't think solar panels are biodegradable.

  • LOL!

  • gret idea!

  • Those flex cells will last about a week, then off to the landfill they go, and we get another. Can you say electronic waste.

  • GAY....

BTW i didnt watch the video

  • boo ugly

  • No we cannot consume without comsuming everything. What we really need is a drastic reduction in population. that my friends is what will, and is eventually going to set the world right.

  • live in los angeles and every pregnant woman has a half a dozen kids following her down the street.

  • ugh. do research. malthus is dead.

most population growth happens in places that are underdeveloped (as in they aren't the ones polluting) Most waste comes from 1st world countries where population growth is dwindling to the point where governments are trying to boost population through incentive.

    duh.

  • great job people. Do you make backpacks also?

  • aww they're sold out

  • i had this idea like three months ago and i thought to my self no someone has had to come up with this idea aside from the save earth part which doesnt really bother me as long as thier not eco terrorist it is a very practical idea

  • This is one of the coolest idea's i have seen in a long time.

  • This is a fantastic idea.

  • I seriously doubt they are scammers.

They may have a reason to believe you are trying to get over on them. If they have documentation that your order was shipped, how would they believe that you never got it?

UPS and FEDEX have ship and signature tracking.

  • im glad u like my vidz too.

  • Pivot Boutique

  • great mother's day present! maybe I'll get it for my mom, she always needs a new purse!

  • will you though? you fucking better buy it now. idiot dont say youll buy one if you WONT. YOU STUPID FAGGOT!!

  • what's your problem? solar pannel bite you in the butt?

  • FUCK YOU. STlCK YOU TESTICALS IN A BLENDER. YOU COCKSUCKER.

  • very great vocabulary, bet your mom is very proud. you should get some anger mangement therapy or something

  • ~~very very cool~~

  • Build a purse that powers a car & I'll buy lol

  • YAY! SUPPORT EARTH DAY™!

  • AWWSOME~!!

I wana gift that for moms day XD
