Wow. Usually I prefer the stop-motion over puppetry (stop-motion is more interesting to watch, in my opinion), but this was actually pretty well-done. You did an excellent job animating the fire from Zilla's breath.

I heard from my friend that Toho is giving America permission to do another Godzilla film in either 2011 or 2012. Their going to use the "ORIGINAL" script they originally intended to use instead of the one used in Godzilla 98. The original script had Zilla fighting King Dedoreah(SP?) fighting in NY. But now their RE-vising the script to add the real Godzilla to fight along side Zilla Jr. aginst KD.

@Tapout13100 That's pure speculation on the use of Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio's script, but Legendary Pictures really is doing a big-budget Hollywood version of Godzilla. Let's just hope it's the movie we should've gotten in '98.

Im still a little bitter then used the Godzilla name for marketing for this movie. Had they called it ''Beast from 20,000 phathoms'' i probally would have liked it more.

It just doesnt live up to the Godzilla name.

I appreciate your effort and all...but Zilla just stinks. The REAL Godzilla rules. Tri-Star blew it by letting Devlin and Tatopolous change the character so much. Stan Winston (R.I.P.) was the ORIGINAL person hired to re-create Godzilla--and his design was TRUE to Toho's beloved character!

I'm just an old 'G' fan...but the creature design WAS very nice--but just 2 different than my big 'ol guy I grew up with! The thing that hurt the most was him NOT having atomic breath, and him running AWAY from the army! Toho must have felt the same--after the release they disowned the creature saying in Giant Monsters All-Out Attack that the AMERICANS believed it was Godzilla that attacked NY--but the Japanese experts disagreed. Then they had Godzilla KILL 'Zilla' in 5 secs. in Final Wars!

If you're talking about the fire beam, I save that video clip frame by frame, and add in the beam on paint, again, frame by frame. It took a long time to do, but it was worth it. :)
