I enjoy your videos a lot m8, but may I point out a few suggestions? :) First, your voice seems to be recorded with low volume. I can hear you fine but I do have to up it on the speakers a bit. Secondly, the audio is too loud. It overcomes your voice and for a moment there I couldnt hear what you said. And for last it'd be worth doing a revisit since they have added a lot of stuff into the game, and not to mention that V 2.0 is comin out next year so it wouldn't hurt :3

Sadly, they packaged it as a new game. This is completely unacceptable. There is a reason why Square has lost so much money on this outing. Dude I've been playing FFXIV since the open beta I still play several hours a day today. I have 4 chars, 5 50's, and I LOL'd so hard at this vid. It's correct. The game is shit rofl. Why I still play? Can save money while I wait for content. But this review is spot on.
they have fixed a lot of bugs but w/e... personally, based on the pace SE is progressing at... I would say another give it another 12 months. The game should be playable by then.

This review is how 90% of people felt who played the game when it first came out (including me). Since the Nov. patch it has gotten a bit better. Lag time between menus is fixed, equipping an item now only shows the items for that slot, they added a piss poor search engine (they are finally putting an actual auction house in a future patch). You should give the game another chance after the January patch. It actually seems like the game is shaping up nicely. Also great review! Subscribed!!

While the game was certainly not fit for release and there are plenty of legitimate criticisms to be made, complaining that a rank 11 character has to kill 13 entry-level mobs to gain 250xp is not one of them. In WoW, you would have had to kill an infinite number of equivalent mobs, as they would have given you no xp at all.

Yup totally agree your review, this game lacks intuition when it comes to usability. I can rant forever how much this game lacks intuition, like easy intuitive basic operations. The designers focused way too much on the graphics, instead of usability.

Pretty horrible review. Obvious the reviewer did not put any effort into anything he did in the game and purposefully chose to act like a dunce. If he had put two seconds of actual thought in or read any of the in-game tutorials, that negates the majority of his "problems".
For example: The Finish button for crafting. The reason it's there is because some recipes allow you to "Touch up", which gives you another chance at HQing the item.
@Kaedan94 It took me at least 2 seconds of waiting to do something else after selecting something in the in-game menu.
I didn't mind all the faults (which are correct... and you yourself are unfair and biased for saying they aren't). It's just that I waste so much time from lag trying to do something as simple as sell my items to a shop... or crafting itself. I timed it... the game hung (did nothing) for exactly 34 seconds each time I had to open the window for crafting.
I get 300-500 xp per mob playing in a party. Not even 30 and I use skills more than main attack so no spamming same button. Btw you can dodge dodo moves if you dont just stand there. Half the retarded menus make sense once you get abilities to fill them, rest are still retarded. Kinda failed to mention you can teleport anywhere instead of running and playing with ppl you can keep it up all the time. Sry you dont look badass at lvl 5. No content at all, yet. Needs half a year to be good MMO

This review is how 90% of people felt who played the game when it first came out (including me). Since the Nov. patch it has gotten a bit better. Lag time between menus is fixed, equipping an item now only shows the items for that slot, they added a piss poor search engine (they are finally putting an actual auction house in a future patch). You should give the game another chance after the January patch. It actually seems like the game is shaping up nicely. Also great review! Subscribed!!

Good review, you should definitely do more. As far as FFXIV. Well the graphics look pretty good and the enemy designs from what I've seen look interesting....other than that it seems like a smoldering pile of doo doo.

While the game was certainly not fit for release and there are plenty of legitimate criticisms to be made, complaining that a rank 11 character has to kill 13 entry-level mobs to gain 250xp is not one of them. In WoW, you would have had to kill an infinite number of equivalent mobs, as they would have given you no xp at all.

I despise long videos ... but I was amused throughout the entirety of this one! It's sad to see the Final Fantasy gameline become subjected to the crap it's become.
Kudos to your use of tracks from other Final Fantasy games! Jenova theme is still my fave from FF 7, but the tracks from FF 3 / 6 will always be the most epic!

Pretty horrible review. Obvious the reviewer did not put any effort into anything he did in the game and purposefully chose to act like a dunce. If he had put two seconds of actual thought in or read any of the in-game tutorials, that negates the majority of his "problems".
For example: The Finish button for crafting. The reason it's there is because some recipes allow you to "Touch up", which gives you another chance at HQing the item.
Overall very unfair and biased review.

@Kaedan94 It took me at least 2 seconds of waiting to do something else after selecting something in the in-game menu.
I didn't mind all the faults (which are correct... and you yourself are unfair and biased for saying they aren't). It's just that I waste so much time from lag trying to do something as simple as sell my items to a shop... or crafting itself. I timed it... the game hung (did nothing) for exactly 34 seconds each time I had to open the window for crafting.

I get 300-500 xp per mob playing in a party. Not even 30 and I use skills more than main attack so no spamming same button. Btw you can dodge dodo moves if you dont just stand there. Half the retarded menus make sense once you get abilities to fill them, rest are still retarded. Kinda failed to mention you can teleport anywhere instead of running and playing with ppl you can keep it up all the time. Sry you dont look badass at lvl 5. No content at all, yet. Needs half a year to be good MMO
