Supercharged Yamaha VMax

It was a 1985 V-Max, 1517cc with a Magnacharger roots blower. It was running about 10lbs of boost at the time (got it up to 22lbs in later iterations.) In this configuration with stock cams it dyno'ed at 190hp/130torque

This run was one of the first times after the blower was installed, ran it up to 140mph, and ate up a new set of clutch plates in 10 minutes.

Well due to physics the faster you go the more the bike wants to stand up, hence why you can't lay it over with full throttle at high speed. now if he hit a pot hole he is dead..

The 1100xx may not be the fastest bike on the road or track, but it does go like snot. If you look into it a little closer, your gixxer 1000 would have its work cut out for it running with the blackbird. The xx is also more "comfort" oriented. I Rode an 03 model and I can honestly say, Ive never felt so secure over 200km/h on a bike
