That was a good little discussion. I am in the camp that the amulet didn't have anything to do with the plague, but it's a possible explanations for what happened, and could probably be argued for.

I agree. I thought the whole mysticism thing was a red herring - the amulet or the ring or anything else.

I actually enjoy this better than the regular roundtable. The discussion is more thoughtful and contains useful insight. The gentlemen are funny and all but the ladies provide greater substance while at the same time being witty and engaging.
