This pisses on the other version of the song they did on one of their first LP's(Its a slower version without the catchy chorus).This is what Catatonia did best: Simple,catchy pop/indie songs that stay in your head for days.

I bought "Way Beyond Blue" after watching one of Catatonia's performances on Jools Holland one night.

This album is amazing, and every song is excellent. I love 'Sweet Catatonia' and 'Whale' but my favorite would have to be 'Some Half Baked Ideal Called Wonderful.' Cerys' singing on that is gorgeous!

the album was a best seller and I am sure that it inspires many people these days - it was such fun! I went to almost 80 Catatonia concerts! Good old days! i become old when they split up!

Way Beyond Blue is still like nothing else, I still listen to it often and it makes me cry its so good, but nobody ever talks about them in a serious way like they werent musicians they was just a female fronted indie band of the time. So sad everyone is missing out on those wonderful songs

I agree megapixel77..Way Beyond Blue is one of my fave albums of all time..I really wish they would reform..I'd pay anything to see them live..Does anyone know what happened to the Margam Park DVD?..I had it on pre-order in 1999 & never heard anything since..A compilation DVD of their videos would be ultra nice too!..Long live Catatonia!
