From what i've heard, is that if you are diagnosed with asthma you are not eligible to join the Air force. I want to join the air force although my family thinks otherwise. They have that arrogant view that once you join the air force you are bound to die.
@IonDeity yeah you are obviously at higher risk of death in military forces then working wal-mart, anyway I won't keep you from it, your asthma will clear up if you change your diet, avoid sugar, gmo corn starch, pasteurized dairy or bleached food they effect your lungs. Saturate yourself with vitamin C to the point at which you have bowel irritation do this till your asthma disappears.

@salvationwar you might not be able to join, new fitness requirements are more strict than ever now (yes on par with other services). This is more of an issue you would have to talk to a recruiter with. Everything, just about everything, in the AF has a waiver, so you just might be able to join.
