The T3100 costs almost half as much. It has a pretty good sub, although it's a bit more shakey bass feel if you understand. The sound isn't as clear either but I think it's worth the money.

It depends on what you find important; looks, bass, treble..? On your budget I would probably have chosen the Logitech Z-2300 speakers (might be pushing past $120 a tad).

I bought the z4 speakers and I'm happy with them.

First I bought the white ones - which are cooler looking.

But they didn't match all my other black hardware so I exchanged them for the black speakers. Yay! :-P

X-540 is a cheap 5.1 system and Z-4 is a medium priced 2.1. I would guess the Z-4.

first all good choice of speakers, ive got the same, also you got XP zune theme, one more thing you should put the subwoofer on the floor, much more bass than up there :)
