The US is a western secular country tolerant of all faiths: In Oakland, CA you can find a Mormon Temple, a Masonic Scottish Rite Temple, a Siddah Yoga Ashram, an Oakland Islamic Center with a small Minaret, a Temple Sinai Synagogue, etc. However, no muezzin is going to be allowed to annoy neighbors with loud calls to prayers 5 times a day because this is not a theocracy or Islamic state. I've visited the Masjid on 31st & Telegraph in Oakland. This is a free country my friend.

Its constitution clearly states that every religion is equal in the eyes of the goverment and not one of them gets to have a special standing (they are all equal). Hindus, Buddhists, Taoists and Sikhs do not perform any Muslim rituals.

The US is a western secular country tolerant of all faiths: In Oakland, CA you can find a Mormon Temple, a Masonic Scottish Rite Temple, a Siddah Yoga Ashram, an Oakland Islamic Center with a small Minaret, a Temple Sinai Synagogue, etc. However, no muezzin is going to be allowed to annoy neighbors with loud calls to prayers 5 times a day because this is not a theocracy or Islamic state. I've visited the Masjid on 31st & Telegraph in Oakland. This is a free country my friend.

I am a Deist, a believer in God as supreme being not as the exclusive domain of a particular faith and a method of worship.

Its constitution clearly states that every religion is equal in the eyes of the goverment and not one of them gets to have a special standing (they are all equal). @teamsigned - If Islam was spread by the sword, then Spain would still be a Muslim nation, and there would be no christians or jews in muslim lands...FACT not all people in Muslim nations are Muslim, there are MANY Arabs in the Middle East, and North Africa and even in Iran who are Christian or Jewish.
Before the Message of Islam, those who became Muslim were Christian or Jewish, or Pagans or Atheists.
You can't deny this no matter how much you hate Muslims.

@teamsigned - Wrong, it means the Muslim leaders in Spain failed to deliver the message of Islam. There are plenty of Christians and Jews in Saudi Arabia and even in Iran.
In fact the Muslim Saudi Royal family stem from Jewish blood.

@NEOGEO1966 1. You are a lying. There are no Jewish or Christian communities in Saudi Arabia.
2. The only reason that communities of Jews and Christians survived in Iran is because the Persians were a lot more defiant of Islamic influence than Arabs. They were Zoroastrian. The numbers of Jews, Christians decreased 90% since 1979 (when Islamic regime took over).
3. In Spain the Muslim forced conversions were halted because the Christians were able to escape to northern Spain.

@davidchosen - The problem with your list is this, a third of it is not right to begin with because it's taken from unauthentic Hadiths, and if you knew anything about Islam, you'd know that unauthentic Hadiths are not things we believe are true. @davidchosen - (cont) And still if you're saying that the prophet encouraged Muslims to praise him instead of God, then you're very mistaken - the prophet did ask us to say "may the peace and blessings of God be upon him" (which he ordered us to do when mentioning any of the prophets), but he commanded us to praise and worship God a millions times more.

But , wait for it......................... It's a week Hadith (yet again)
