You can carry any fixed blade with a blade length that is legal in your state for the folders your carrying.... If its legal to carry that spyderco military with a 4 in blade then its legal for you to carry a fixed blade with a 4 inch blade.. In fact, in some states you can actually legally carry a larger fixed blade then you could a folder... Simply because the law states "4 inches CONCEALED".. Whereas it may be perfectly legal to open carry a 5" fixed blade as long as iit is NOT CONCEALED.
@mrbigbeaner Mainly the blade steel, it has s30v instead of 154cm, but I like the bladeshape better, that nice stonewashed finish. the jimping on top of the knife is actually more aggressive than the older griptilians. Other than that its exactly the same, some people liek the s30v steel better.
