I find orkut more user friendly than most other social networks. Facebook users need to try orkut someday, I'm sure you'll like it.

chrome is the one thing that google does that needs to die. another browser to take care of when designing websites? why didn't they just back the mozilla codebase and everybody would have been happy (well, counting MS of this equation). chrome is by no means sabotaging IE, it is undermining mozilla, and - love it or hate it - it is mozilla that gave us back the web and effectively eradicated the activex infection. so chrome must die.

Effectively, you only need to take into account one Browser of the two

Just like you wouldn't test Firefox, Camino and SeaMonkey as they're all based on the Gecko rendering engine

So, for each of the major rendering engines, test one browser

Trident (Internet Explorer), Gecko (Firefox), WebKit (Chrome/Safari), Presto (Opera)

The only true differences between any browser of the same engine is UI & how well they use said engine.

It's not another browser for designers to "worry" about because it uses the same Webkit engine as Safari always did. It's anew browser with new features but anything that renders in Safari will render in Chrome cuzz it's the same engine.

obviously people replying to this comment did not get the point: WebKit was a non-issue prior to chrome, for the simple reason that safari was also a non-issue. Geko was available on all of linux, osx and win, so whoever wanted to mess with other browsers let hat be their problem. But with google entering the game the whole situation changed simply because it's google.

However, the main threat is not chrome anymore, but rather the new soon-to-become standard cross-platform programming platform which is, starting with march 4th, Nokia's Qt Creator, and Qt Creator integrates WebKit rather than Geko the inbuilt web rendering component.
