How was the sound of the JBA inside of the cab? I have a Magnaflow dual exhaust and the drone at 1700 rpm is killing me. I'm leaning towards going back to stock, but might consider the JBA if its slightly louder than stock with no drone.
The JBA drone was quite noticeable at highway speed/ RPM in my King Cab with non big tow gearing. My friend's Crew Cab with big tow gearing doesn't seem as loud in the cab. Not sure if it's the larger cab or the gear ratios that makes it more tolerable.
@ SobeHall & gohomeimigrants ...I recently removed the JBA muffler from the JBA pipes and replaced it with an Aero Turbine XL3030 muffler. It is much deeper, cleaner, and louder than the JBA. The JBA was a little too raspy at higher RPM's for my taste. I'm sure any decent exhaust shop could weld the Aero muffler to the stock exhaust. The muffler runs around $160.
Any ideas for me? Someone brought to my attention of hollowing out my cats and getting jba headers. Ive got stopped up cats at the moment and don't have but about $500 to spend
