@agwhitaker Apple called it off a long time ago, before Windows 7 was released, you see Apple is not so interested in bringing PC users through these commercial since iPad was released... they simply are dominating other markets now and eventually bringing new users based on the Halo Effect of iPod/iPhone/iPad. For sure Windows 7 has finished the bad time Vista had and these commercial would have to go deeper to make fun of 7... but we never know.

I tell you, their battery life is average, their QoS is under average and what do you mean by "construction quality"? They assemble parts made by Asus, Nvidia, Intel and a whole series of other huge manufacturers (like their built in webcam, which is made by a chinese giant).

Their SSD drive in Mbook airs are super low quality, they use basic 7200 RPM drives in Macintoshes with SATA, controlled by AHCI etc..

@blobrockster ok, first of all, the taskbar doesnt in any way resemble the mac dock. gadgets are arguably copied, but the concept is also a very simple one so it is possible they weren't copied. and windows can be customized far more than mac can inside the OS. almost anything about the layout or aesthetics can be altered, without hassle, whereas mac you are stuck with one single skin, and more or less one single layout. the dock cant really be customized either.

@Lndmk227: Video editing, music editing, media work horse. Its got a lightweight OS, fluid UI, and great software right out of the box. Bootcamp is icing on the cake, I don't even use it, mainly because there's nothing from my PCs I wish I could run on my Mac.

But don't get me wrong, I love both my PC and my Mac. If you want a machine for gaming, get a PC or console. If you want something for media performance and OS X, get the Mac.

Mac's have half less processor speed, less memory and harddrive space, yet can do many more tasks.
