Hi Kobby! My name is Jack with "California's Cash Only Band", a Johnny Cash Tribute Band. I love to listen to W.S. Holland. He had such unique ways to enhance Johnny's songs. From Ira Hayes, to Folsom Perison Blues and he continues his greatness! He added a lot of specialties that most drummer's wouldn't think of. Thanks for the video!

Thank you too kobby for your post. I found youtube like 2-3 weeks ago and been stuck like super glue to all 50's RnRoll clips. Roland Janes/WS Holland had a phenomenal flow in the studiorecordings behind other artists at SUN e.g, JJL, B Lee Riley. Keep it simple as Sam C Philips said. Those guys had dms, bs, elgtr and in JJL/C Rich's case pno. And thats enough. Can you imagine to have clips from the 50's when they did the circut in the South. Janes have a very 1st name. ;o) Take care/Roland

W S Holland sure had that drive that is synonymous with SUN. But where the heck is Roland Janes? They were behind many, many recordings at SUN

ws hollands is one of the best drummers i have heard and was excellent when he was with johnny cash
