  • Hi Kobby! My name is Jack with "California's Cash Only Band", a Johnny Cash Tribute Band. I love to listen to W.S. Holland. He had such unique ways to enhance Johnny's songs. From Ira Hayes, to Folsom Perison Blues and he continues his greatness! He added a lot of specialties that most drummer's wouldn't think of. Thanks for the video!

  • DAMN! He is better off on his own then with Johnny.

  • Man you gotta love W S Holland! He`s done and seen a lot of things in his day, bet he could tell you a lot of awesome stories...Thanks for posting!

  • Not JJL but JLL. Duh!

  • I would love to see Scotty Moore, James Burton, WS Holland, & Carl Mann together.

  • Thank you too kobby for your post. I found youtube like 2-3 weeks ago and been stuck like super glue to all 50's RnRoll clips. Roland Janes/WS Holland had a phenomenal flow in the studiorecordings behind other artists at SUN e.g, JJL, B Lee Riley. Keep it simple as Sam C Philips said. Those guys had dms, bs, elgtr and in JJL/C Rich's case pno. And thats enough. Can you imagine to have clips from the 50's when they did the circut in the South. Janes have a very 1st name. ;o) Take care/Roland

  • W S Holland sure had that drive that is synonymous with SUN. But where the heck is Roland Janes? They were behind many, many recordings at SUN

  • Thank you for your comment. Roland Janes is one of the greats.

  • ws hollands is one of the best drummers i have heard and was excellent when he was with johnny cash
