However, he was so popular that they brought him back in the sequel Cartoon series, "Gatchaman II" (part of this show was shown in the mid-late 90s in the US/North America, and other parts of the world as "Eagle Riders").
You can watch the series, Gatchaman II, on youtbe. Just type in the name and you'll find a bunch of episodes...
