But Jesus took up my cross, and it just kills me to think that He took my cross that I wanted to take up on my own b/c I don't deserve such grace, or at least grace I don't understand. @hiphoppacmotion You wouldn't have taken up that cross to die for the sins of mankind because of the terrible pain. I hate to admit it, but I wouldn't either. Only Jesus could have done that. Only Jesus can be the Father. The only way I can truly describe this is through a movie, The Passion of the Christ. That puts things in a better perspective than words alone, though it doesn't do justice to the pain Christ truly went through. All in all, His grace is in you because He is your Father.
@hiphoppacmotion I know what you mean. I was a porn addict for 3 years. I hated myself for it. I tried to break myself from it. That was my mistake. Satan tries to make you think that you're all alone with any type of addiction. But, to be honest, you're not alone and you can only achieve victory with the help of an accountability partner. Talk to someone you can trust. Ask them to pray for you and to check on you at least once a week.
@hiphoppacmotion Also, remember to do this: People, places, things. Don't hang out with the people who got you on that or are doing similar stuff. Stay away from the events, websites, or places that are known for or have what you're addicted to. Don't do the things that led to you're addiction.

It sounds silly but it works. 1) Watch each others backs. 2) Don't go out after dark (don't put yourself in a tempting situation) 3) Always be ready to fight (or resist your addiction) 4) Be careful about what you consume (think about what you're about to do. If it can get you hooked again, don't do it) This will be continued in the next message.

Please pray for all of the marching bands that perform on weekends. It is extremely cold and we are outside almost all day. Also, our band hasn't had any luck this year. We have only been to two competitions and made last at both. I have always wanted tobe in band. We made it to state last year and now we have a new director and for some reason we can't do anything to please the judges. Our school has had three different band directors in three years.
I play alto sax for the lake braddock marching band in VA and we've recently been to some competitions when it was FREEZING out! Ill pray for your guys success and finding a good director!
Sometimes you just have to be patient, I know when I lost my best friend (who I knew since I was 5) it took a couple of days 4 me to realize he's always there and I felt a lot better. Also, remember God doesn't give us situations that we can't handle on our own. If you just believe in him he will be there

I was in like 2nd grade when I heard this and I still can't stop listening to it. I had the greatest privilege, I went to Hume Lake with my school and he was our worship leader, I got to have lunch with him and I even got to buy this album "Grace Like Rain", and "Better Questions" and he signed them. Simply think logically. If those who are circumcised cannot be saved by Christ, then we were led by false apostles because they were all Jewish men. Further more, all men who are born in hospitals today are circumcised, which by your statement means that all men in modern society are condemned to hell automatically.
Now about Galatians 5, Paul did not say that men who are circumcised are condemned to hell. He was addressing those in the community who were being swayed by teachers in Galatia to put their hope in being circumcised, which put them under the Law, and that if they did so, they were no saved by grace, but condemned by their own sins. This is because the Law showed us what sin is, but Christ is the One who saves us. Does this make sense?

"Let the man who has committed no sin be the first to throw the stone at her" and please, for the love of all that's holy, stop being so homophobic. We sang this in Youth Group one night..and as soon as we started singing this it started pouring..It sounded so perfect..and afterwards we just listened to the rain and prayed..and As soon as we were leaving (this song was the last thing we did) it stopped raining and there was the most beautiful rainbow. Please pray for all of the marching bands that perform on weekends. It is extremely cold and we are outside almost all day. Also, our band hasn't had any luck this year. We have only been to two competitions and made last at both. I have always wanted tobe in band. We made it to state last year and now we have a new director and for some reason we can't do anything to please the judges. Our school has had three different band directors in three years.

Sometimes you just have to be patient, I know when I lost my best friend (who I knew since I was 5) it took a couple of days 4 me to realize he's always there and I felt a lot better. I was in like 2nd grade when I heard this and I still can't stop listening to it. I had the greatest privilege, I went to Hume Lake with my school and he was our worship leader, I got to have lunch with him and I even got to buy this album "Grace Like Rain", and "Better Questions" and he signed them. Great guy, VERY VERY funny and inspirational. It's also kinda tender to listen to this because it was mine and my best friends favorite song and God called him home over the summer.

Simply think logically. If those who are circumcised cannot be saved by Christ, then we were led by false apostles because they were all Jewish men. Now about Galatians 5, Paul did not say that men who are circumcised are condemned to hell. He was addressing those in the community who were being swayed by teachers in Galatia to put their hope in being circumcised, which put them under the Law, and that if they did so, they were no saved by grace, but condemned by their own sins. This is because the Law showed us what sin is, but Christ is the One who saves us. Does this make sense?

Children stop arguing about who sinned and what God hates. The bible is pretty clear on the subject of sin. "Let the man who has committed no sin be the first to throw the stone at her" and please, for the love of all that's holy, stop being so homophobic. We shouldn't argue, you're right. Christ did intend for us to love each other. BUT, He did NOT intend for us to tolerate evil. He was very clear on the wheat and tares, and on the branches that do not bear fruit getting cut off and thrown in the fire.
We should love everyone, but not everything that they do. Some things, the things that contradict Christ's teachings and are clearly evil according to the Bible, should not just be accepted with a smile.
