But the friends that I made and that I still have protected me from those who wanted to tease me, so I was pretty untouchable when I was in high school. I hope she's doing better now :)

Peggy Knight is the worst solution. It hides the problem. I also had alopecia and did not need a wig. There is a shampoo you can order from Germany and it has worked. It's called Thymuskin. It will take between 4-6 months for your hair to grow back but at least it will grow back without a wig.
@GBJ83 Because I had a patch on my head and it was bald. It was very disturbing. I also had patches on my chin. I used the shampoo on my head and the hair grew back faster then on my chin. On the head it grew back within 4 months while on the chin it grew back within 1 year. It was slower on the chin because I did not put any shampoo on it.
@JosephSolomonUS mine also came and went and came again randomly, i really wish your proof really was proof but I think your head hair would have grown quicker whether or not you used the shampoo
maybe the head on your head grew back quicker because a magical raindrop fell on it but not on your chin. you have no way of proving it was the shampoo that fixed it, its just coincidence

HAHAHAHA SHE'S BALD!!!! No tho she's cute, and making fun of people with alopecia is not cool . I have it, it's less severe now but when I first caught it it drove me nuts. But then I used my personality and wit to win over a nice cloud of friends and caught respect, my stress and anxiety went down and so did the rate of my hairloss. Now I got about 2 dime sized spots, 2 quarter sized spots and a big one on the side of my head but none of it is noticeable because I grew out an awesome fro.

HAHAHAHA SHE'S BALD!!!! No tho she's cute, and making fun of people with alopecia is not cool . I have it, it's less severe now but when I first caught it it drove me nuts. But then I used my personality and wit to win over a nice cloud of friends and caught respect, my stress and anxiety went down and so did the rate of my hairloss. Now I got about 2 dime sized spots, 2 quarter sized spots and a big one on the side of my head but none of it is noticeable because I grew out an awesome fro.
