Went to a Def Leppard concert with Damn Yankees opening for them long time ago. I am Def Leppard"s greatest fan and to see Tommy, Ted and Jack was unbelivable! I teleported back to the 80's, it was so great!!

Just check "Damn Yankees: Rock in America" video and compare it with the original version by Night Ranger. You'll see the huge technical differences between Ted and Brad-Jeff. Don't get me wrong here: I also like Damn Yankees but downplaying Brad Gillis and now Joel Hoekstra's playing in comparison to Ted's are just not appropriate.

@chreene @trey8047 You guys gotta be kidding! Brad Gillis is a legendary guitarist! He was picked by Ozzy after Randy's death & his tremolo techniques hv inspired and learnt by hundreds of thousands guitarists ard the world. As a guitarist for 28 years, I dare to say that Brad Gillis' & Joel Hoekstra's technicality are 1000 X above Ted Nugent. Of course, Brad played the solo his way not Ted's. There's a big difference btween technical virtuosity and a rumble of distorted notes that Ted played.
