  • I really want to see these guys live, but I feel like it would be weird without Jayke.

  • One of the local small towns around us had a bluegrass festival saw them from 8 to 1 in the morning in both the park and a bar. great band, sounds amazing live, so active

  • @GnomeAttaxxx I agree with upjumpthedevil here, it's not always about who does a song better. If Tori Amos were to do this song, chances are I'd never know and if I heard it I'm 90% sure I would like this version better. That doesn't mean this version is superior, it's like apples and tomatoes. Both red, juicy fruit yet some will always prefer one over another. But is one really better?

  • well nice cover but TPB still wins :D!

  • no, they covered this song on Fire and Hail and they covered "Evil on my Mind" on their first album. and i don't think they necessarily did it better. they're a different genre than TPB. .357 is self-described 'streetgrass' while those poor bastards can't really be described as anything but gothic country.

I like them both equally though.

  • I thought Those Poor Bastards covered .357, not the other way around.

Either way, .357 definitely does the song better than TPB could ever hope

  • awesome man... These boys kick some major ass
