@Maniplokius Firstly, I wouldn't buy this camera again. I'm sure there are better cameras out there now. I don't have this camera anymore, but will do my best to answer:
1. I believe the video formats are compatible with YouTube, the box has a YouTube logo on it when you get it, so I think it's safe to say yes.
2. It can record in the dark, but the light never worked for me, neither as a feature for filming in the dark or as a flash for taking photos
@cchana thank you for the answer dude. I know that there are better cameras out there , but they cost too much, exaggerating prices. so im gonna buy this camera, cuz now i know that it can record in the dark and very light. oh, sorry about that, but i have another question: is it stereo sound or mono?
@Maniplokius sorry, but can't answer that question for sure as I don't have this camera anymore. I *think* it was stereo, but really can't say for sure
@dummerbube It's OK, but at 1080p, it has a lot of difficulty finding and keeping focus. At 720p, focusing is better, but then the quality isn't as good.
@thokeJackass I did get a CD but never used the software. I haven't edited anything yet, just uploaded the files the camera creates straight to YouTube! If I were to edit, I'd probably just import to iMovie or something though... (I'm a Mac user, and apart from Adobe Premier, not used anything on a PC for video editing)
Hi I just bought my toshiba camileo h20 camcorder yesterday and tried to edit one of my movies on my HP laptop and it wont let me ! I think it is something to do with AVI and how its just not accepting windows movie maker on my laptop.
Can you help me ASAP please because I will have to return it witch I dont want to do ?????
Hi, sorry, but I use a Mac and I'm not sure what file formats are compatible with windows Movie Maker. I've been able to edit with iMovie, but not export at 1080p
I have this camcorder too, you cann see other HD vidoe here watch?v=KYTf5Txi8B4
overall, it's great machine and buttons aren ot complicated at all !!! zoom doesnt matter, I am not from national geographic film crew, and who is buying camera for night recording ??? stabilizer wasnt on camcoders for all the time, it is pointless.
it was a little better than i expected in low light, but not brilliant. I did have a floodlight on, so I'm sure that helped lots. Happy so far but haven't had the time to play with it enough yet. Keep an eye out for more videos which I hope to take/upload soon!
I have some question! But please reply to me quickly, cause im going to buy this camcorder.
1. Can I publish a video from this camera straight to youtube? i mean, is it WMV, MP4 or AVI? Or something else??
2. Is it able to record in the dark?
3. Is it able to record in the VERY sun? These are the questions. PLEASE REPLY QUICKLY!!!!

3. Records very well in good light

It doesn't seem to be that bad in low light - good to know.

I desperately need your help. Did you have a cd that followed with your camera that worked?
What program do you use to import the files?
Did you even have to install anything to se them propably?
What are you using for editing?

How good are the still shot pictures?

-U cannot film while U are charging the battery
-(optical) zoom+focus are shitty
-stabilizer is not doing his job properly
-battery life is very short
-quick view menu and buttons are complicated&stupid positioned
-the image of clips in "night scene" mode is very-very shitty or zero :P
+camera is very cheap & small
+the 3inch display is an advantage (it's really big), but not for battery, because it finish her quickly
+Full HD (I love MACRO taping @ 1080p)
+Remote Control; HDMI, USB, AV cables.

Hmm looks pretty good after reading reviews about it was rubbish with low light! Overall are you happy with the performance?

@nexerman apologies for super late reply... it's OK. Focusing isn't great, but when it has focus, it's pretty good.
