Dude, we have almost the same setup... only im using vdj.

but the greatest is my setup plus my friend's ns7 hooked to his macbook. the two of us mix through a 4 channel korg studio mixer, with a mic put into one of the empty channels. then the out is used for making recordings.

...armin on ns7 + dj solovey on vestax + 500watt sony surround = one legit party

I run this on a vista machine with traktor pro, works fine. Make sure you're not trying to run it off of a USB hub (it causes detection issues), if you're plugging it straight into your computers port and still having issues, try another port. If all else fails, like someone else said, try d/ling updated drivers.

2 things

1 - Vista is almost as horrible as Millenium so ... dont waste ur time on this, buy 7

2 - If u REALLY wanna enjoy this lil'baby, buy a MAC ;). Thats what i did, no problem at all

Yes on vista it works fine. tracktor and the vci pair up fine with vista. although as we all know vista is a bit twitchy....but i had no problems

I have this exact laptop with vista and would like to know if you can use the vci 100 with vista on it, cause everywhere i look it just says it's supported by xp, you on vista, or anybody else know ?

i use a numark dj io which is an external sound card with headphone jack then you pair up with tracktor le. so u can monitor mixes
