  • great idea BUT there's no way that pvc cost only $3. more like $15-20

  • @GreyHoodProductions I don't know what ridiculouslyexpensive hardware store you shop at, but this only cost $3. If you look at the design it is only broken down into aprox 8 pieces, and the main design is cut down from only one 2 foot piece of pvc.

  • lol looks like your flying a plane.......nice quick fix though

  • well, a steadycam is something different. this is just a stabilisation rig...

  • a broh run at least 6 miles to see how steady it is

  • smooth?? I got sick watching...

  • What's the difference if I use water or electric PVC pipings? the blue and orange pipings.

  • what camcorder are you using?

  • @LawsonIntel

    Samsung HMX-H200

  • Can it work with a DSLR?

  • @kaninda3

I put my Canon 600D on this recently and with the battery grip and the heavy lenses, I was not too sure about it.

  • I wouldn't trust an expensive camera balanced ontop of some PVC piping. If i were to make one, It'd be from metal.

  • @JDO658 You buy schedule 80 pvc and glue it together and I'd bet it last longer then you. Needless to say it won't rust either. Now that is silly!!!

  • @JDO658 Oddly enough, PVC is very strong and as long as it is glued and you do not go over your weight camera wise you are good. very expensive fig rigs and camera rigs are made of heavy duty plastic

  • I'm dizzy! xD

  • wow. thats pretty damn smooth. would love to see a video where youre walking, running, etc, to get a better feel for how well it works in moving situations. but for just being stationary, it looks real good. thanks.

  • @RockwellInfo Have not really had an opportunity to really test this out since I have since upgraded to a hmc40 and HDSLR. Maybe in the future

  • Decent quick fix but I recommend looking into the Cam Caddie Scorpion if you need a quality DIY camer stabilizer. I've been using one for a bout a year and it's been highly effective.

  • @avonsworld

i actually own one. I am now using a panasonic HMC 40 and it doesnt fit

  • Nice! I made this to snowboard with but i made a few changes to this including a rubber washer on top to make it a little bit steadier. Thanks so much!

  • @soonersfan356 have any video up showing your rig?

  • Wow!
