I like your camel pose variation! I usually end up doing something similar, but now I'll try it that way. If I had yoga blocks I would try that thing in bridge too.
I just have one question. when i do poses like the triangle pose, i get upper back cramps and the pain lasts for like 2 hours :S i am doing everything correctly (recorded myself doing it) but i still get this sick of a pain in my upper back pointing out to my shoulders and lower back. its as if my shoulder blades are knife sharp and cutting through my spine .. very awful
i like most of your videos, and the asanas in this one are good, but i like it better when i can watch you go through all the transitions between the poses--this video in the beginning doesn't do that! like maybe video yourself doing the whole routine and then have the instructions just as voice over? anyway thanks for all the great videos!
Idk about you guys but I love how ads come up on videos now on the video itself and you have to x out of it, and sometimes you click on it by accident thats awesome.
sure. using your hands to support your lower back is a good one. You can also interlace your hands and press your arms on the mat to lift even higher. a good shoulder opener is to lower your back on your arms from here, breathe a few breaths, and press back up.
sure. a soccer ball should work fine too. block is good because it's stable but you could actually use the ball to roll up and down your spine for a nice back bend and massage all in one!
Those are all stretches that I try to do in my regular practice! I still have a tendency to hunch over though... guess I need to do them more often, lol -Mel
I find it curious that you pronounce your name 'Tera' instead of 'Tara'. Does anyone address you as 'Tara' in the USA? Or, is 'Tera' universal over there?
ha. you know i think i have an intentional psychological block with that one. i have no issues with one foot behind the head though. still like to be in control :)
ha! my friend shot this a while back and put in that funny logo (my mom actually drew it!)...sorry V day is almost over but i was busy today and better late than never! and V day should be every day!
loving the pjs

Nice, Tara! But I don't have the heart-emblazoned pajama pants! Can I still do these stretches? :)

tara.. in the bridge pose, can we use our hands (from below the lower back) to raise as high as we could?

I wonder if a smaller ball would be the same if you put it under your back and roll it up and down,(soccer ball is what I use)
