I bought one of these - the 7 qt model and it didn't last two weeks making 2 loaves of whole wheat bread per week. I returned it and got a second one, by the end of a monring of mixing the gear case was leaking grease into the mixing bowl. Fortunately Sears took it back today.
too many cheap flimsy plastic parts
I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole

Just bought one and it is awesome. Everyone likes the kitchenaid because they had it for so long. But this one has a crusher of a motor in it.
