I once found two quid on them steps as a kid, every time I walk down them now I keep my eyes peeled for more, inflation says it should be a ten spot now!!!!

never walked them coz im 12 lol but ma mum and auntie has...lets just say they were lucky they lived lol u get out of breath like that!!!it was a secret entrance in the 1200's coz there used 2 b a castle there so preists n army's n stuff have gone undergroud those steps to hide from danger

The house at the top of the hill used to have a small, yappy dog. Everytime I walked down them it would scare the **** out of me by barking....I'm still scvraed walking down them to this day :)

Lived in Macclesfield for most of my life (now in London) been up and down those steps so many times I've lost count!
