Adding Joe Satriani's "Time Machine" in the background made this an instant win. Not to mention, this was EXACTLY what i was looking for to make my stir-fry dishes better.
the secret to succulent and tender beef in chinese cooking is BAKING SODA. I used the cheapest cut of beef I found, sprinkle a teaspoon of baking soda on to thinly sliced beef and let it marinate for half an hour, then rinse them 3 or 4 times with running water.. and VOILA, JUST like at the chinese restaurant!!! absolutely ♥ this trick!
MSG as a food ingredient has been the subject of health studies. A report from the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) compiled in 1995 on behalf of the FDA concluded that MSG was safe for most people when "eaten at customary levels." However, it also said that, based on anecdotal reports, some people may have an MSG intolerance which causes "MSG symptom complex" — commonly referred to as Chinese restaurant syndrome and/or a worsening of asthmatic symptoms.
Thank you so much, this was great. Unfortunately i couldn't find rice wine at the asian market, so i didnt use any. I also couldnt find hot dry chilis so i used habanero peppers. But either way it was still really good, thanks for all the recipes.
home cooking will always be better then eating out. Yesterday I ordered beef stirfry sooooo much MSG in it I had to drink a pitcher of water when I got home. Gread vid Kai.
MSG is a very bad salt thats makes food taste better but makes you dehydrated and it makes you fat. Also I heard it kills your brains cells if your younger. But the fat one i know for sure is real.
U make it just like how i make it except i use sweet onion in it too. i cook this all the time for my girlfriend. She really likes it. My Mom is Laos and Dad is Thai...do u live in the midwest we might know u! Sa bi dee!

Theres been no proof that MSG can kill brain cells or cause canceer, it is perfectly safe to wat at a healty level like all salts, fats, Etc
however, high consumtions can cause or worsen asthmatic symptoms,
