Well graphic are looking better than PC (explosion, colors,...) and music are differants but the IA is worst, in PC game, even you choose easy, enemy has better react than PS1. But I just want to know if they are more level than PC because I saw screenshot of level I never see on PC game and I havn't PS1 lol

Well, I suppose that's because of the PS1's technology which was way weaker than the PC at the time. However it is still very impressive for a PS1 game.

No, PS1 was more powerfull in graphics then Pentium-166 without 3DFX for example.

@EJ205T This game hit in the age of the voodoo card on the PC, so while the PS1 may be more powerful than old PC, the gaming class PC of the day when MDK hit absolutely blew the PS1 out of the water when it came to technology. If you had an old PC at the time, then the PS1 would have been more powerful at running games of course, but overall the PC quickly surpassed what the PS1 could do. Just like they did with the PS2, and now the PS3. That's the advantage of PC gaming.

The good PC of that time was P-200MMX with Voodoo1, but it cost triple price of PS1.

I first play MDK on the P-100 with 16Mb RAM and S3trio64v+ graphic card, that had no 3Dacceleration, even it wasn't compartible with Direct3D mode, but that time it wasn't "old PC", but when i saw PS1 graphics, i was realy surprised! Certainly, after installing voodoo in my new P233 i forgot about any consoles.

@EJ205T Well, yeah, if all you could do was run PC games in software mode, then yeah, the PS1 graphics would still be in competition. But if you had a voodoo, or any 3D accelerator, there was no contest. That being said, the PS1 graphics did go through a vast improvement from the launch to the final generation of games. In fact I think PS1 graphics have their own charm to them.

Yeah it's probably better, but the PS1 doesn't give compatibility issues. I'm not sure if the PC version runs fine on new operation systems, but the PS1 version will never have compatibility issues because all I need is a PS1 to play it.

Does the PC version run good on XP by the way? I might look into getting it if it does.

I tried this on my new Vista Laptop yesterday and it didn't work. After the language select nothing happened. It works on my crappy old XP Desktop though.
