remember those jingles they use to play on magic? "ladies and gentleman! Norman night, and more of the music that brought this city the rock and roll hall of fame! WMJI Cleveland!"
I have gone online to listen to WMJI several times the past couple weeks in the morning and have not heard John Lanigan. Did he retire? Did he move to another station? If anybody knows, please inform me. Thanks!
Lanigan was good back in his day but his day has come and gone.....Jimmy Malone and Tracy Carroll coule very easily do mornings without Lanigan. Lanigan is nothing more then a washed up studdering erogant loud mouth.
Webster had suffered from brain cancer, and due to heath concerns, he was taken off the show.
In '98 Webster felt well enough to come back to radio, and went to WTAM 1100 (by then a sister station to WMJI) to help get their new "Wills, Webster, and Coleman" morning show off the ground.

Today John Webster is happily retired.
