They are inappropriate for Christians to GET

But if someone comes to the faith AFTER getting one, don't judge them for it.

tattoos doesn't make you a bad Christian and it also doesn't make you less of a Christian.. having tattoos doesn't mean you're going to hell.. personally i don't think God wants us to tattoo ourselves, but that is the path they chose.. the bible says we should trim the hair on our face, but i bet you do.. tattoos doesn't change their heart.. unfortunately their tattoos cause other "Christians" to judge..

@777seether777 As I told onixtheone, God doesn't look upon the flesh, and couldnt care less about tattoos so long as they arent aimed at hurting others when seen. Anytime you say something to hurt another person, that is against the Word. Christ gives us two laws and says that in these two commands is fulfilled ALL the law. "Place God before all else, and love your neighbor as you would love yourself. On this hang all the law and the prophets." (in so many words...) Matt 22:37-39

@onixtheone If you truly study the Word, you'll find many times where God states quite plainly that he does not look upon the flesh, but upon the heart. This does not only mean that he doesnt look at your skin, "the flesh" refers to your body, and mistakes (also know as "sins of the flesh" in the word). The word "heart" (in the new testament) is the word "Kardia", meaning "spirit or mind, the seat of thoughts". So, God could care less about tattoos (IF they aren't aimed to hurt others when seen)
