  • dont go to indo bugger their economy

  • @settinsun11 It is actually dangerous for Australians to go there since the Indonesians have no problems targeting us and the Australian Government won't protect us. People need to understand how Schapelle was framed and if enough of us spread this message we can make it difficult for the real democracies around this world to openly fund this rogue nation. The global snow-job of how Indonesia is a vibrant democracy must cease and those persecuted by their courts must be released.

  • I live in the Netherlands, we've got this Sunday evening program called "Border Security" which I believe is Australian made program. Anyway, your country will not let any foreign government to start telling Australian Government to handle things, so why would you expect the Australian Government to interfere?

  • @adityadwiangga I never expected the Australian Government to interfere but this was a transnational case according to the Indonesian court. The charge of importation meant that Schapelle had acquired the drugs in Australia, taken them through our airports and arrived with them in Indonesia. This gave Australia the right and the duty to investigate how Schapelle acquired the drugs, who was involved and how they got through our airports. We had equal rights.

  • @DJWOLFEN01 But what happened is that Aussie Government chose not to interfere, so you can't just simply put the blame on the Indonesian Government. Your theories are not not strong enough to point the finger on Indonesian Gov, planted the drugs. However, regardless what is going on. I don't think Corbý's should be jailed that long. I personally think She had served her punishment. This is just insane that here In the Netherlands people just walk around on the street smoking weed.

  • @adityadwiangga You don't know all my arguments and so really you cannot judge. If you weren't around for the last 7 years as things happened I cannot tell you of them all here or in a video. Perhaps I should make more videos.

  • @DJWOLFEN01 Surely this gave Australian Government to investigate, but it is also Australian Government choice not to do so. Therefore, it is partly also Australian Government's fault not protecting their citizens

  • @adityadwiangga Sorry, read some of the comments I've already made here.

  • @adityadwiangga When the Indonesians refused to weigh Schapelle's luggage (3 times to 3 different enquiries) it was clear that they planted the drugs. Imagine if Schapelle was guilty we would be asking, "Were they giving her a break?" The prosecution had to prove two things: that Schapelle imported the drugs and that she did it knowingly. If they had weighed her luggage and she was guilty they would not have needed confessions, witnesses or anything else.

  • When the Australian government saw this they knew Schapelle was being framed which is why Australian Police didn't immediately raid the Corby Home to secure evidence and suspects as would be normal. They knew that in the days to follow the Indonesians would not have wanted the Australian Government to secure the Corby home and any evidence that showed that the Corbys were not drug traffickers. The AFP knew that Indonesia would not want an Australian investigation immediately.

  • The Indonesians had targeted a random Australian and set her up for the death penalty to show Howard that he had no power over Indonesia. Well, that's an act of war and had our government responded by making demands and ultimatums that would have lead to an escalation but I do agree that our Government was weak. However, they can keep. It was the Indonesians who did this and focusing on Australia as some supporters are doing is actually supporting our government's weak policy.

  • @adityadwiangga Any goverment should right the wrong as they do.if they dont the people should stand

  • This all hinges on the argument that the Aus Govt knew Corby was innocent, and didn't want to upset Indonesia. Therefore they wouldn't show whole hearted public support for her. "..had to cover it up?". But what if the Aus govt knew damn well she was guilty and didn't want to look stupid? And what's all this housing commission crap? The Corby's have made a fortune out of this. The mum lives in Mick's old house, bought presumably from his little side line business, and it's all coming out now.

  • @baxterwall2802 So please explain to me why the Corbys weren't investigated, their home not searched or even visited. Are you suggesting that the Australian Government condones transnational drug trafficking and protects drug traffickers? They certainly didn't protect the Bali 9 when they had every right to arrest them on their return. Ros lives in the housing commissioned duplex that she and Mick got when they were married. Do you think the Australian government paid for the appeals?

  • (Cont) The Corby finances have been poured over with a fine toothed comb. They have not made a fortune and the fish and chip shop was sold to pay for Schapelle's on-going legal, medical and living expenses. Most of the money from Schapelle's book was seized as was the money for Mercedes magazine interviews. What is coming out now are the same lies that were already debunked and I regard Duff's book as a blessing since we can get a chance to show just how biased the media are.

  • @baxterwall2802 you idiot she is not guilty the only thing coming out is your lack of common sense.

  • I am convinced that Schapel is innocent. Australians should boycott Indonesia for any one planning to holiday there. Hit them in the pocket. Go on Australians support your own citizen. I for one will never go there or recommend holidaying there and i am not Australian. I did live there from 1978 till 1985 I totally agree with the comment from gogogeedus below.

  • Maybe a few people will come to the realisation that THEIR GOVERNMENT DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THEM,..NOT ONE TINY BIT. They see themselves as our MASTERS not our servants which is what they really are.

  • it is horrible what they can do to people. For a bag of greens lock someone up for life and she didn't even do it. Just horrible.

  • I know a lot of Aussies do care but cant do a thing about it,what I care about is that good Aussies like Chapelle Corby are being replace by boat people and illegal immigrants and most of them are coming through Indonesia,we cant forget that innocent Aussies have been murdered by terrorists while spending tourist dollars over there. I don't want Australia to change under these circumstances,we need to determine the Australia of the future it should not be determined by undesirables from abroard

  • Comment removed

  • @gogogeedus Australians do care. It is just that we have been so thoroughly convinced by a media and internet campaign that Australians are taking marijuana to Bali, that the Corby family are drug traffickers and therefore, Schapelle took the marijuana to Bali. And yet, no other seizures, the Corby family still live in a housing commission home and Schapelle is still claiming her innocence. What Australians need to realise is that those who refuse to investigate are hiding things.

  • Another point is she got charged with trafficking drugs? They never proved a connection that she brought the drugs in from outside indonesia did they?

At the time I commented that those drugs look like a plant by customs. I think that theory looks pretty good now..

  • @ClassicVideos80s When you realise how John Howard was using Indonesia's pretence of adopting democracy to interfere in Indonesian affairs and that in 1999 we were on the brink of war with them over Australian troops in East Timor, it becomes clear that Schapelle was set up. After all, Schapelle was arrested only 7 months after Van Tuong Nguyan was sentenced to death and look at how much that upset Canberra. How much more upset would be caused over pot and a dubious conviction?

  • Funny how the govt spends more time trying to stop the "boats" than trying to get an obviously innocent Australian citizen out of jail.

  • @ClassicVideos80s I'd be happy just for an investigation into how the Bali Police knew that Schapelle's fingerprints weren't on the plastic, that there were no drugs in the remainder of her luggage, that weighing her luggage would not aid the prosecution and that testing the drugs would not confirm Australia as the source. Psychic perhaps. Of course the Aust Government had to cover it up - framing an innocent foreigner with a death sentence offence is a definite act of agression.

  • I will never again holiday in Bali, not for the fear of being potentially set up and then locked up for a crime that I hadnt done but because of the way they treat us foreigners ie Shappelle Corby. Would much rather visit Thailand! Everyone should boycott Bali!!!

  • schapelle is INNOCENT AUSTRALIA TELL INDONESIA WE WANT SCHAPPELLE HOME

  • LIKE IT OR NOT, SCHAPELLE CORBY IS INNOCENT. SEND HER HOME NOW INDONESIA.

  • Amazes me the psyche of Indonesians. They won't speak out against terrorists or their actions in killing foreigners. Yet, they have no problem calling for the death of someone for marijuana possession (innocent or not). Do Indonesians have a sense of perspective?

  • @WorldSacred A friend went to Bali recently to visit Schapelle. On their way to the prison they were harrassed by drug traffickers selling every drug under the sun. These Indonesian traffickers aren't shy or sheltered in dark alleys; their harrassment is loud and obtrusive. Clearly, they have no cause to fear the police and the idea that Australian druggies work in competition with them is ludicrous. No-one is taking marijuana to Bali and Indonesia has different laws for foreigners.

  • @DJWOLFEN01 Yes, and those pictures of protestors walking down the street with signs saying "Corby, drug traffickers must die" should read "Corby, and other foreigners must die". Indonesia has a reputation as being a racist/xenophobic nation. They have no problem protesting the death sentences of terrorist bombers who are Indonesian, but will fight for the right to kill someone foreign (and white) for the misdemeanour of drug possession.

  • @WorldSacred That was actually a message from the Indonesian Government to Howard and Australia that regardless of guilt or innocence or of any evidence unearthed, Schapelle was going to be prosecuted. Indonesia doesn't tolerate public protests unless the protest is a political device staged by them. They did the same thing over the West Papuan Visa affair. The Australian Government was given the choice of going into conflict or going along with the sham and supporting her guilt.

  • @DJWOLFEN01 I'm sorry, but I don't understand the connection between Corby and the West Papuan visa affair. Could you elaborate?

  • @WorldSacred When West Papuan separatists fled West Papua for fear of their lives (Indonesia is committing genocide there) Howard was forced by international law to grant the refugees with temporary visas on the grounds that they fleeing oppression. To refuse them would put Howard in breach of international law. The result was a crowd of Indonesian 'renta-thugs' spitting on our embassy in Jakarta. When the Indonesian govt is unhappy they have thugs show it in street marches and protests.

  • @WorldSacred The racism by indos comes from a feeling of jealousy rather than superiority. They (indos) are 'angry' at you for being born white (and that they are not) and wud like to see you hurt to satisfy their anger. I was unlucky enuf to be born there. If I see another indo where I am living rite now I wudnt think twice abt seriously hurting them.

  • @weepingod I have to disagree. Indonesians are xenophobic rather than racist. That is, they have no interest in any other culture but their own. To call them racist is to suggest that 'Indonesian' is a race and it isn't - it is a nationality. And, they are not alone. Nor is there anything particularly wrong with being xenophobic. The problem is a lack of human rights in the hands of a militaristic government that has no respect for other cultures.

  • @DJWOLFEN01 In my 28 yrs in that shithole you call indonesia, I have been beaten in jail (once, traffic violation), spat on numerous times while walking on its ‘sidewalks’ while minding my own biz, things have been thrown at me, also, while walking and of course constant verbal abuse, they hav also vandalized my property (cars, vans, houses) while I was away. What wud u call that if not racism? Please invent a new word for me.

  • @weepingod I am not disputing you but I want to impress on people that my efforts have nothing to do with what I feel about Indonesia but because Schapelle was deliberately framed by Indonesia in order to end Australian interference in Indonesian domestic affairs. This was an act of aggression and to prevent an escalation of hostilities, Howard allowed the media to claim that grass was pouring into Indonesia from Aus and that Schapelle was guilty without showing any evidence for either.

  • My heart breaks for Schapelle Corby, may she remain strong.

  • get her home, Indonesia is a military dictature, ruled by cooks and the police is so corrupted, we all know that. Is Australian gvt weak or what ?

  • @holamad I think the Australian Government did what they thought was best at the time - the sacrifice of one for the good of the many. However, in the long run they gave Indonesia license to do whatever they want and worse, in accepting this, Australia trashed its democracy by subverting public opinion in the same way that the corrupt Indonesian regime does. The media can now control public opinion on anything that the people would normally oppose which is a threat to our human rights.

  • The Howard Government knew Schapelle was innocent. But did everthing to make her look guilty and destroy her family. Rather than help her.

  • @NosajVonSosaj If we choose to believe that they didn't know or that they thought she was guilty, why then didn't they treat her like a suspect and investigate her and her family? Why leave it to the Gutter media when clearly the public was demanding answers? They certainly knew that there was no profit in taking marijuana to Bali and yet if Schapelle was guilty they stood back and allowed her to plead innocent without saying a word. Since when does our government protect drug smugglers?

  • While I accept that my use of Elgar's music in this video authorises the owners of copyright to promote sale of the music and I support this, I find it repugnant that my copyright and creativity has been impinged by the moronic advertising splatered over my work. To read the text of the video, close the google advertisements on the image.

  • What was the hurry for the weed to be destroyed? Maybe they were afraid they would find out the weed was not grown in Australia? Stupid Indonesians. Not even the citizens there would have enough balls to mention that. It's probably a 20 year sentence to speak out against the Govt. Can't this judge see her health failing. Is this what he thinks is justice? All it proves is what a stupid man he is.

  • @traviselizabeth The decision to plant the drugs and convict an Australian appears to have come from the highest levels of the Indonesian Government. The Judges, the prosecutor and the defence lawyers didn't even raise the issue that no foreign marijuana had ever been imported into Indonesia before so no one looked into how this marijuana was to be sold. In short, everyone ignored the motive for the crime.

  • Hey DJ, Part 3 is really good, but I like your music on part 2 better! Someone with no knowledge on this case may miss the best bit about John Howard, his interference with Indonesia and how by an Indonesian(s) planting drugs on an innocent Australian would seem a great way to stop interventions or make him step in and start a war! Does John Howard care about Schapelle or the Australians who care about this case now?! An act of terrorism in my eyes!

  • @rambleify Due to the needs of brevity most of what Howard was doing in Indonesia was ommitted from the video. His threat to invade any nation that was harboring terrorists comes to mind. After Howard sent Australian troops into East Timor to fight Indonesian militias trying to retain East Timor by subverting the referendum, Indonesia had had enough. The obvious victimisation of one tourist for a crime that had never occurred sent a very clear message.
