  • hey does this happen to work with the 4th generation ipod touch?

  • Nice VCR!

  • @killerob666 heck yes! I still watch Back to the Future 1 on VHS...

  • @pumthuggee I'm an antique freack myself.

But really? BACK TO THE FUTURE 1 dude ? :)

  • Can you check if it allow u to watch YouTube through the tv

  • If you connect that cable to iPod to tv is it going to allow you watch YouTube?

  • @93kurdish That's a great question I never tried that

  • Added: they also claim that this is done on purpose by apple so you HAVE TO buy apple tv.

  • @TheNyCsound Part of the master plan....

  • Does anybody know if this works with IPhone 4 with 5.0.1 update? Please someone help a brother out. I just read a bunch of user reviews on amazon and they say that in order for it to work u need to jail break which is something I really don't want to do being that it voids warrenty. Is this true? Thanks in advance.

  • @TheNyCsound Oh man I don't know. You can bet that it's going that direction tho

  • If you had a 1080p video on your iphone or ipod touch, would the display on the TV be of 1080p?

  • @kiogeedwardkaranja I don't think so with this cable since the end that connects to the TV is RCA format which is standard def only

  • dude, this is pretty ghetto but pretty dope. thanks for the vid. I don't know if will work now (with all these apple updates) but, i'll try it anyway.

  • @olafthemagnificent Where there's a will there's an iway.

  • @olafthemagnificent quit updating it... :p

  • Hey man i like the idea but i dont get how you put all the cables together if anyone or you that knows can get back at me with the steps please!

  • @MyJgonz This crazy cable is the Mac brand one from the Apple store but I bet you can find a knock-off on Amazon for cheaper. These are about impossible to find in stores though.

  • What confuses me is this works fine on my iphone 3 when I play home movies or youtube but when I try to view Netflix, i get audio but no video. I know that I'm not ready to buy a 4 yet because my 3 does a gret job. I mean it all comes through on the iphone but not the TV.

  • @YeagerP51 Weird- It may be a setting on your TV. Make sure you have that extra input enabled. Also try playing the netflix movie on your phone and once it starts, then plug the cable in. There's usually a short delay but that's how it works for me.

  • I bought one of these cables worked great then I updated the firmware on my iphone, no longer works now , Apple are bastards!

  • @benofkent Ahhh that sucks!

  • NO picture but sond..... why?

  • @Stabarila Hmmm- Try beginning the movie and then plugging the cable in. What version of iphone? I'm using 4 so not totally sure about other versions.... I had trouble when I had everything plugged in and then hit play. Best results were by starting the movie and then plugging it in once it was running. Hope that helps

  • im black ok... its not ghetto unless you use foil and tape

  • lol!!! love the sound effect at the end :) ..!! Im getting this cable to stream Netflix on my Car Navigation system! ^_^

  • @crisjaca Oooh great idea- that's right, car systems have RCA inputs- Can you post a video response when you do it? I want to see how it turns out

  • @pumthuggee

Whats up dude!!.. SO I got mu cable... Iand it works on my TV with the pictures and videos form youtube... when I stream Netflix it wont work.... I dont know what to do. I plays Youtube videos and displays my pics if I go on slideshow mode..... Any sugestions??

  • @crisjaca Hmm that's weird. I had this problem a couple times. I think you need to actually start playing the movie on your phone and THEN plug the cable in. I seem to remember that If I plugged in the cable before opening netflix and starting the movie that it just showed a red screen. Let me know if that works

  • How is that ghetto? lol

    That's what it's made for.

  • wtf noone uses vcr anymore

  • It makes me sad that a person who owns and operates an iPhone wouldn't know how to do this.
