Oh my! This is exactly how anyone should feel toward the one they love. His voice is beautiful, so is the song. I saw him once, around 2003, he sang this, as well as his other popular songs. I took my sister, who loved him also, and I have beautiful memories of us enjoying his concert together, since she has since passed away.

Thanks for the nice comment. Especially from a teenager. I was brought up with this kind of music with my Father. My 2 older bros liked old rock, e.g. Deep Purple, April Wine, etc. They hated country, now they love it! :-)

I've always loved the older rock band like April Wine & early 80's stuff, but was brought up on good 'ol country since I was born! My Mom used to sing old country songs to me & I usually wouldn't listen to anything else but country, Irish style, etc :-)

Ahh man, these were the days for the Nashville sound. Country music took a serious dive after the 80s-early 90s. Today's country just doesn't add up. It's got no feeling. All about lights, smoke, and fake accents. This music here was truly the last of the real deal for main stream. I mean seriously, listen to that key modulation at 2:32 through 2:40. They aren't doing that stuff anymore.
