@FestusOmega Turns out the website for the game claims that sword isn't a scimitar. It's supposed to be a falchion, which would make more sense. They probably should've made it more obvious though... I still think it looks more like a scimitar than a falchion...
From gameplay videos and pictures, I have only seen European soldiers. This makes it kind of confusing why there's even a scimitar in the game...
