  • Excellent work

  • The '71 CB750 K1really is the best model Honda ever made, especially in Ruby Red.It had all the up-dates from the CB750 & K0 models, but did not go as far as the K2,with the idiot lights,341 mufflers & different seat. The K1 stands alone as an independent model just before all the Jap manufacturers went nuts with all their models to go up against the Classic CB750K1.The CB750 Sandcast & K0's started it off but were a little brittle in design & quality. The CB750K1 was simply superb...the only CB750

  • Wow, great job on the restoration!. I have just acquired my uncle's 71 Honda cb750. He passed away in Jan. of this year and was the original owner of the bike. He took me on many rides and when I was old enuff I rode it myself. There's nothing like the sound of the 750/4!! I remember him leaving the house for a ride & being able to hear him for MILES away!! Anyway I plan on doing a full restoration myself and was wondering if you could point me in the right direction. Any help is appreciated.

  • @tedwoe - Sorry to hear about your uncle. I am always interested in sharing my experience in restoring this grand bike. Just e-mail me with any specifics you need assistance on and I'll do my best to point you in the right direction!

  • Beautiful bike and very nice job. I just restored myself an other classic bike of that period, a 1972 Kawasaki 750 H2. To see the restoration of this bike make a youtube search for:

  • Hi, Thanks for the comments. I can only imagine what riding in the land of the midnight sun must be like!

  • Hi Tom,

Thanks for your comments. What part of Germany? I've been to Cologne and Heidelberg areas [unfortunately not on 2 wheels, though)

  • Nice work and story. I had a 74CB 750. It was a wonderful bike that took me coast to coast twice without a problem. I now have a bone stock naked 1976 GL1000. I love the old Honda's!

  • Hi, Thanks for your comments. I also have a stock '76 Wing parked in the same garage. It's awaiting the same treatment. So many bikes, so little time!
