This is my bet is already placed for Midnight Interlude to win the derby. With his showing at SA and his bisterling speed in mud (rain predicted for the derby) I hope the odds stay up for a nice pay out.
@jjamerb bummer we had one scratched, I think you picked a good horse. With Mo getting scratched, and plenty of people not wanting to bet "the favorite"... and rightfully so at the derby, I think Interlude's numbers are really going to hell as far as what the payout would have been without that scratch. Nonetheless, Baffert doesn't even have a clue about this horse. (Except when he sees mud he's happy!) Nobody does... and that's why I like MI to win also :)
Finally got to see his maiden race, thanks for posting, and great to see a sloppy off track is no problem for Midnight. I picked him in the SA Derby and he impressed me very much, and this was equally impressive to see him handle an off-track with ease, since the Derby has been on an off track a lot in the past couple years
