Portugal is one of the world leaders in having a high percentage of it´s electricity being produced by wind (over 10%).
Most of it's electrical energy is generated by hydro which is renewable.
An electrical car network will give the country great energy autonomy.
Would be nice for the environment if other countries would do the same, specially heavy polluters like US, Canada, China etc.
