Actually, yes and no. Competiton often involves a lot of tricks, but there ARE studios out there - good studios like this one - that do more in their dances than simply tricks - which this studio has a tendency to overdo. Sure, certain technique levels should be present, but requirements? I practically lived in my dance studio: 6-7 days a week, 4-5 hours+ a day. The other students in the studio become your family, if the teachers support comradery rather than cutthroat competition.

This studio has some very talented dancers. Amazing, really! I just find the choreography for the lyrical/contemporary routines are all very similar. It makes it hard to finish watching a routine because I feel like I have seen it already.

Again, amazing talent, no question!!! Leg extensions are beautiful!

i agree at some points but i think they did a pretty good job at sincronisation with this dance because sometimes in the song its just vocals and no piano so it can be veeeeery hard ;)
