Aaron really should start using double pedal. I read some where that he didn't want to because it made UO sound "too heavy" but I'm glad they brought it back for Lost in the Sound of Separation.

The double pedal that he uses in the first 2 albums wasn't the double pedal that you're imagining. It just added a little extra "oomf" to certain parts.

It's where you have two bass pedals (and sometimes two bass drums) and rapidly press them.
