I am finishing my PhD in Germany and would be starting in a Consulting Firm soon. I have been here since the past 3 years and the view of India here has changed almost from one day to the next - and to a large extent, I feel, was responsible for me getting the job. But among the Indian authors, only Vikram Seth's books are available in German.

I would be esteemed to share more information about the views from here about India, if you so like. Is there any compilation of your columns?

But India as a country is just 60. As per the history I've read, India was just a region before, comprising numerous kingdoms and empires. It was only after independence from British that India actually became an official country.
