@earlbrown33 light strings and change your pick attack i use 9-56 hybrid set i buy nines and get a single 56 and have a high action from adjusting your trust rod in your guitar also fiddling with your amp eq add alot of mids and pickup height can make all the difference and i use a jazz 3 makes it pretty djenty with the pick technique change experiment though see what you like

Man i so agree, i did go to get one, but the music man say no, so i got a 'Jackson Kelly' and what i have done, is make it act like a 7 string guitar, e.g - 6 string E3 A3 D4 G4 B4 E4 - 7 STRING,,, A#2 F3 A#2 D#4 F#4 A#4 D#5 - Just Get heavy size 12's - 13's 7 String guitar strings, just miss of the High D#5 tune it up... as said above, you have a 7 string, and we rarely use that high E4 Or D#5... Get Mi Drift Or Is This Totally Jibberish!!!???!!! lmao
