Ah, JC is a legend. I like old Pumpkins, but I thought Zeitgeist had some great songs on it, and if Gossamer's anything to go by, future material is gonna be EPIC!
I miss the SP of old - but a band like them only comes along once in a lifetime. Plus, even if they got back together - the only one of them not past their prime is Jimmy (maybe Iha too, to an extent). Corgan's songwriting and composing is good, but not great like it used to. It'll just never be the same....

They warned jimmy many times and they knew that if they took away SP then he would really reconsider and it helped him. some say it saved him. Billy got pissed with james on who knows what, maybe his exit. supposedly after their last show he ignored jimmy and billy and just talked to darcy then left. really, only they knew.
i know the drug reasons for d'arcy and chamberlin but iha is what bothers me....corgen still has no real explanation for it leading me to wonder...if only we could get them all in a room together in the loudQUIETloud esque documetery on what realy happened and why for the love of god iha wont play for the pumpkins any more....besides they brought back Chamberlin and he was the last member to sign on for the origional band and yet D'arcy never returned? odd dont you think?

theres an interview with billy corgan on some german show where he tells the host hows d'arcy was threatening to write a book on him, he questioned it saying you have to question the motives of someone that has been addicted to drugs for years.
i donno man, i suppose it could be a few skeletons from billy's past, but i don't know so i can't speculate, even though it sounds like it would be against billy i would read it though.
haha. he's admitted to doing this multiple times. if he doesn't want to play a song he skip it. don't know if this was the case.

They played it after this. The setlist had Starz to be played before Cherub Rock, but Jimmy skipped a song ahead. It was all good though : )
