Cheers for posting this mate, it's great to see a video of the inns and outs of climbing the pinnacle. Climbed The Cobbler ten times, done the pinnacle once - the first time I went up and then haven't done it since! Would love to go up again and actually do that last bit. And awesome to see you doing it in crap weather, I wouldn't! And to the poster below: wearing shorts of a cold, wet Scottish dayain't as bad as you'd think ;-)

Well done lads,I used to go up this hill as a teenager but never had the courage to thread the needle you did well in this weather it looked as if there was ice on the rock so it must have took some guts to do this..Good video showed clearly what the climb entails . Im well over half a century old now but Im deffo going to go up the cobbler in 2010 and after seeing ur video I hope I'll pluck up the courage to thread it I might wear a rope though! (what do u mean woofta? Im old giv us a break!)
